Being out on the water is the best way to experience a vast area as beautiful as the Clyde. Forget about all that goes on inland and immerse your senses while we whisk you around some incredible attractions like castles, lighthouses and sunken shipwrecks and at the same time get up close and personal with nature and keep your eyes peeled for porpoise, seals, sea eagles, otters and more.
Nowhere else in this area offers such an extensive maritime tour, and can tailor the trip to suit your group’s needs.
If you want to go slow, then we go slow.
If you want to go fast, then yes, we will go fast!
You tell us what you want and we will do everything in our power to make it happen.

We start and end here in the Holy Loch, Dunoon. Learn about its history from ancient times, through the wars and up tioll the present. There may also be a chance to see sonar images of some WW2 landing craft which were sunk here.
Once we have reached the famous Sugar Wreck and our skipper has told you the story of how she sank, we will get some hot/cold refreshments served on board, and take a slow trip all the way around this shipwreck. You are welcome to take as many pictures as you like and ask as many questions as you like. We will keep a close eye out for all sorts of wildlife around here such as gannets, seals, and porpoise. We may even see some military vessels in the vacinity. Once we are satisfied, then it is off to the next stop on our Northern Clyde Tour.

Had a magical wildlife trip, we spotted numerous porpoises and even got to see the Clyde pod of bottle nose dolphins. Jason the skipper was friendly and full.of information. Felt very safe on his boat.

Had a fantastic experience filming out on the Holy Loch with Jason on a very rainy January morning. He went out of his way to provide our crew with everything we needed, and options for all eventualities and was very professional and experienced in dealing with all our requests! He provided local knowledge of Dunoon and where to stay/eat etc. Would highly recommend Wreckspeditions for personal or professional hire! Thanks so much

A small group of us asked Jason from Wreckspeditions if we could book the starfish enterprise for a 1/2 day boat trip, in order to try and get a sighting of the bottlenose dolphins. We met at Inverkip marina, where we were given a safety briefing before boarding the Starfish Enterprise (Cool name). Less than 10 minutes into our trip, we had an amazing encounter with the dolphins. Jason was very professional and followed the Scottish Wildlife watching code. Keeping his distance to avoid any change to their natural behaviors. We then headed out to the sugar boat for a trip around the wreck. Followed by an amazing cup of coffee and a homemade flap jack and a chat. On our way back to the marina, we had the most amazing, unique experience with the same pod of dolphins. They decided to bow ride, They were within touching distance. Breaching and showing off! To sum up my trip. BETTER THAN PERFECT! A day i will never forget. Thanks Wreckspeditions. We’ll be back.

Booked for two dives .What can I say . Very welcoming very professional and knowledgeable . Now I been on a RIB before when diving put the way he has this set up ie getting divers kit on no rush nice and relax not rushing lots of space for divers to set up and the easy way getting back on out of the water sooo easy and he puts your fins on 🤩 made the day more relaxing and enjoyable and stress free . But the surprise was coffee and tea with biscuits. But hot chocolate with marshmallows and cream . 5 star ⭐️ treatment . As a dive club we will be defo be booking the charter again . Thanks Jason from boness sub Aqua club . Ps was my first wreck dive as well glad it was with you and your boat RIB

Had a fantastic trip out today with Jason. Very exhilarating out on the water in the fresh air. Saw the lighthouse up close and the pier. Got so close to a wreck we could nearly touch it. Lots of seabirds and different types of other vessels. All really interesting. And of course some seals and porpoises leading us a dance but showing themselves now and again just magical. All of this along with Jason’s informative narration pointing out lots of interesting points on and off shore. We all really enjoyed our wonderful sea adventure and would be sure to go out again when back in Dunoon.

I took my son who is on the autistic spectrum. Jason was accommodating to get him familiar, constantly kept us informed. Safety was azing, knowledge surpassed my expectations. Hot chocolate at sugar wreck great touch. Porpoise hunting didn't fail. Riding the waves of the western ferry was such fun. Jason is such a lovely guy, who made the whole experience wonderfully.
