The tour takes more than 6 hourse from the time you get picked up at your hotel until they drop you at the MBK center. From this six hourse you sit over 4 hourse in the shuttle and enjoy the road conjestions in and around Bangkok. The frist stop is to bring you to the railroad station from which you take a 20 minutes train ride to the market. You get some time to explore the market and then a long shuttle drive to the floating market. I visited the floating market 14 years ago and it has nothing to do with what it was, a buzzling scence with local farmers selling fruits and vegetable from their boats. Today, you get into a boat and they make a short loop passing one souvenirs shop after the other, selling overpriced souvenirs. So if you want to spend a few house in a shuttle and then buy souvenirs from a boat, go for it. Otherwise don't wast your time and visit a real market!

Ur group of 5 family members had a wonderful time at both the train station and water market. I had been to the train station before and just watched it come into the station (went on my own with a local driver. This tour put us on train - high-fives to the tourists on our way in! And then watching the train leave. So get to see both aspects which was nice! Our guide, Quan, was very knowledgeable and took very good care of everyone (my oldest sister was 75 and no issues). Highly recommended!!

It was amazing to see these historic markets. These markets really provide the local experience, showcasing the way of life in Bangkok. Everything I ate was delicious. Tan, our tour guide, was adorable!
