William. Our guide, was good fun and very informative. His instructions throughout the day were very clear and it was all very well organised.

An early start, but worth it for a visit to these well-known markets. Really enjoyed the train ride to the market, then the train leaves and you have the experience of seeing the stalls move aside off the train tracks and squashing in to keep out of the way as the train passes! The floating market was enjoyable but very busy and lots of ‘tourist tat’ (this was in contrast to the railway market). But still, it was interesting to experience. Our guide was so informative and helpful - he was great!

The tour guide, named Patty, was very kind and she guided us through the train market and the floating market with the right directions to be safe.

Very interesting experiences, good guide, well organized, comfortable van. We have to negotiate the prices on the markets, that could be boring and anoying.

The tour was fun, but as we were there during the busy season, the train was very crowded. We probably could have squeezed onto the last car, but standing for a 30 min train ride squished against a bunch of sweaty people didn't sound appealing, so we opted to reboard the bus & ride it to the train market. Unfortunately, traffic was really bad (busy season!) so by the time we made it to the train market, we only have about 10 mins to shop. From there we reboarded the bus & went to the floating markets. Our guide, Rut, was practical enough to decide that the lines for the boats were too long & suggested we eat lunch & do some shopping first. Once the lines died down, we got on the boat & had an amazing time shopping the floating markets. Overall it was a fun experience, but I would likely choose a tour that didn't include the train ride if I were to do it over. Rut was great at communicating how the tour worked, meet up times, etc.

Our guide was lovely but did not give much history or context of the markets. The transport times are quite long for a very short time at market. I knew this from the reviews and still did it! I think you may be better off with a private guide where you can adjust times to be less rushed.

Very good experience. Extremely organized. Keep the promise. Guide has reasonable explanations about the places we visited. I felt safe and oriented all the time. Comfortable transportation. We had a little delay on the return and we were explained that it was necessary to do a car maintenance while we were on the last ride. I thought it was weird, but it was nothing that hindered the ride. Other than that, it went well. It's not extraordinary, but it's an excellent option.

the most memorable part was sara teaching us the history of thailand and i learnt some fun facts about how “thai” came about, and the history of maeklong and how it started in 1905. i am impressed with the hospitality of sara. not boring tour at all because she entertains us in the bus, with lighthearted humour and fun facts about thailand only a local would know. she even gave us free banana fritters which was so yummy! wouldnt have bought from thailand as my home country also have goreng pisang which is similar:)

The trip ended in disaster. After paying for the trip, we received an email with instructions for the trip. Meeting point at Samsen 2 Alley. We entered this address into Googlemaps and waited. After 3/4 hours of waiting, we contacted our agency /BigCountry Experience/ via WhatsApp and they informed us that the bus for the trip had already left. So the meeting point was not at Samsen2 Alley but around the corner. We asked for a refund and argued with the agency several times, but the refund was refused. Be careful with this agency so that you don't end up like us. We weren't on the trip, no one returned the money.
