In order to guarantee a better experience for our customers, our tower has a maximum capacity of 6 people, i.e. two times less than a classic tour generally offered on the market. This allows our guide and our captain to take care of you.
It is essential for us to ensure respect for the tranquility and well-being of animals, and more particularly humpback whales. This is why having a capacity of up to 6 customers allows us to have a minimum impact on the animals.
It also promotes better observations and interactions with animals.

What To Expect
From August to November we have the chance to observe humpback whales from Antarctica in our waters. Come with us for a unique experience and discover these extraordinary animals in the company of our captain and our experienced guide who will know how to take good care of you both in the water and out of the water. In order to offer you better services and benefits, our tour is limited to a maximum of 6 people so that our team can take care of you. Fresh fruit and drinks (water, fruit juice, punch) will be served on board. Snorkeling equipment (fins, mask, snorkel) will also be available if needed.

We started at 7am on time and although it was already early November we were lucky enough to see whales and swim with them on several occasions. A truly unique experience. The crew was very friendly and could tell us all kinds of things about the whales. An absolute recommendation from us.

From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect! We visited 3 incredible dive and snorkeling sites, each more breathtaking than the last. Swimming alongside humpback whales, rays and reef sharks in crystal-clear turquoise water felt like being in another world. But what made the day unforgettable was our guide, Manu. He didn’t just take us out to sea or snorkeling he was a true waterman! His passion for the ocean the animals and the knowledge he shared made it such a unique and special experience. This tour wasn’t just beautiful — it was soulful. If you’re coming to Moorea and want the experience of a lifetime, book this tour! It’s an absolute must. 🌺💙

5.00We had a wonderful time on our afternoon whale watch with Moorea Sea Experience. Our guide, Mana, got us into the water with the whales efficiently and calmly—he had a great way of explaining all the things we needed to do to be respectful of the whales while also maximizing our chances of seeing them up close. We are so happy that we chose to do this excursion! It was absolutely incredible.

5.00Unique experience. Only 6 guests were allowed on board, which improves the experience. The small number of participants is very advantageous in the water. We saw two adult humpback whales underwater during the first snorkeling walk and a mommy with her calf during the second snorkeling walk. It is an incredible feeling to swim with humpback whales.

The team, composed of two very friendly brothers, was great. The guide at sea knows perfectly how to choose the best approach to maximize encounters. 5.00Best tour and guide (Mana). Fantastic fantastic fantastic. I’d recommend in a heartbeat! This operation has its stuff together - small boat (6passengers) with 2 experienced and knowledgeable crew. However would recommend being in fairly good shape and being a good swimmer. Also take your motion sickness drugs before you go - can end up in choppy waters in open ocean. Most amazing thing though!!
