Fun and beautiful excursion into Valle de la Luna. The hikes and viewpoints were amazing, and our guide was quite informative about the unique characteristics of the area. We even got snacks, and got to watch the sunset from a scenic viewpoint. The tour was only 4 and a half hours, so it's a great way to spend a half-day if you're in San Pedro de Atacama.

Our half day tour with Chris was fantastic. He was super nice and full of information for our trip to Valle de Luna. The afterwards for pisco sour and snacks were delicious and meeting our group form around the globe. The sunset was spectacular. Thank you Chris for a memorable day in Atacama desert

The tour was fine, with transportation and guide to learn about the geo-knowledge of the Valley de la luna. However, the mix of Spanish and English speaking into a group made the dynamic very awkward. The guide we picked should be English-speaking, but turns out to be bilingual. Then, it was obvious that the guide himself also found it easier to communicate in Spanish and made the English-speaking crowd felt neglected. Even in the group chat of pick-up arrangements, most of the convo has been in Spanish, and we need to proactively ask what's going on / keep translating with apps to follow up on the status. I am not rejecting putting both speakers into a group but in terms of guidance, instruction or Q&A, I suggest there should be brief translation in between so both language speakers understand what's going on more. The internal communication within the tour agency was interesting as well. I've sent over the entry tickets, confirmation of pick-up to 3 different accounts / contact points under their name...while updates come last minute on the pick-up. Not sure if this only happening to our group, unfortunately. I think there are rooms of improvement and, maybe, there are other tour providers which can do better.

The views were awesome. The guide Frank was cool. He even took us to an additional spot - the salt mines which was not part of the itinerary. The snacks served during the sunset was of a great spread and the pisco sour was delicious. Frank even helped me climb down the rocky path after watching the sunset, considering my fear of fall. Overall an excellent tour.
