Very good tour! It was just me so there was no rush. We went to the village, and he handed my off to the guide there. She was so nice and personable. Everyone in the village was welcoming! Next we went to the museum, where I got a history lesson of Zambia and the people, past and present. Great tour!

Very informative and beyond expectations. Very knowledgeable guide, Evans, who is also passionate about his country. Mukuni Village is worth a visit which shows primitive tribal life. Youth dancers and singers were really enjoyable. The Livingstone museum tour shows historical timeline about Zambia's journey to independence. Informative driving through Dambwa market area and town of Livingstone. Highly recommend this day trip with Evans!

Excellent tour giving the real connection with the places included! This is a tour I recommend, instead than doing some bungy, zipline etc. The pick up from hotel Shearwater village was on time and the border crossing was quick with guide all the time next to me. We started at the Mukuni village which was an amazing experience. A lady from the village guided me, telling how life is there and showed the hardships and situation for them. The museum visit is a guided one, with a museum employee telliing you about the artifacts and history. No photos are allowed however. Good and interesting, also takes about an hour. The market and Livingstone town part of this tour was at the end, had a few good video clips and photos from it. I should mention that I made reservations on the evening before, short notice that is, but everything was excellent and was much better than I expected!! My visit at the Victoria Falls was enriched by this tour!

Evans was an amazingly friendly, helpful, communicative, and informative guide. It is always a delight to have a guide who is passionate and proud to share their culture with you and with Evans, this was never in short supply. A first class experience as far as service was concerned. The sights were an excellent way to see the real Zambia if you only have a short time there. Amazing history, current culture, and where the country is heading can all be expected on this tour. We were grateful for this opportunity and recommend to anyone hoping to learn about Zambia!

This tour was excellent. The first stop was Mukuni Village where a local guide took us around the village and explained their history, way of life and customs. We also, were shown the insides of several of the huts people live in and watched someone who was making crafts from wood which they sell. At the end we strolled through the village market. I wish I had purchased more things there since there were many great hand crafted items to choose from and the prices were very reasonable. The sellers will negotiate the price with you so be prepared to haggle. My one regret is that I had nothing for the children of the village. I had bought coloring books and pencils for children but gave them all to a school we visited in Cape Town, South Africa. If you plan to visit Mukuni Village please take things the kids can use. The rest of our tour included visiting the Livingstone Museum where we were given a guided tour by one of the museum's guide. The tour was extensive and very informative. After that we were driven around Livingstone and our tour guide shared with us lots of information about the town. The final stop was a market where locals shop. It was great to get some insights about how locals live. Overall this was an excellent tour and well worth doing.

The tour is long, but filled with learning about Zambian history and culture. My favorite part was the village visit, where I suggest you bring things for the local community, as tourism is their main source of living.

Our driver and guide Shepherd first took us to the local traditional village where we were shown round by an inhabitant. The tour finished at the craft market where the many vendors were vying for our custom. Buying is encouraged as it’s their source of income. Shepherd then drove us to Livingston. First stop the museum where we had a guided tour. It’s a bit tired but quite interesting and has a good section on David Livingston. Shepherd then gave us a tour of the town and market which was very interesting. He was great at answering our questions. Finally, back to our hotel. All in all, a very worthwhile experience and a great way to spend the afternoon.
