You will follow one of the very picturesque roads of Austria with unforgettable views of magnificent Alpine nature. You will admire landscapes and colours of fabulous Hallstatt and definitely will be charmed by this spectacular town. It will be not possible to leave without making pictures on the wedding bridge of a white-snow Ort castle. These must-to-see places will help you discovering a delicate soul, a rich story and a natural beauty of the Austrian lake region.

Choose at least 24 hour before tour departure an option with free hotel pick-up, which starts approx. 45 min prior to departure.
Please note that you will cover approx. 600 km. by motorway and Alpine roads at this day. It is approx. 7,5 hours drive with short breaks. You will spend approx. 20 minutes in Ort castle, max. 3 hours in Hallstatt, 15 minutes in Traunkirchen, 2 stops on the highway for coffee break.
Since most places don’t accept cards in Hallstatt, we advise you to bring some cash for boats and street food, as well as 50-cent coins for the toilets.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR SKYWALK VISITORS Skywalk lift began extensive renovation works and will remain in operation until 31 August 2025. Pease note: Skywalk viewpoint is no longer barrier-free accessible. Wheelchairs and pushchairs must be parked at the valley station and there are many steps to go from moutaint station to Skywalk view point. The Skywalk lift will be closed for renovation from Septemeber 2025 to June 2026

What To Expect
In one and a half hour we will make a short coffee break at a quality restaurant on a highway, where you can relax and enjoy a comfortable rustic atmosphere and stretch your legs during your break.

The first big stop on your way will be a white-snow Ort castle Ort, where lots of couples dream of celebrating their weddings and there will be an opportunity to make amazing memory pictures on the famous wooden bridge.

5.00Don’t think twice, take the tour! Everything was planned in details, all the breaks and visit itself. Best part was the boat tour. If you are in Vienna , definitely worth to spend one day at this tour. Our guide Lidya was very enthusiastic and helpful. She answered all of our questions and helped to be punctual.

4.00Dasha was an excellent tour guide with lots of great stories. Overall a great trip, the boat ride was worth it and the views were amazing. The only downside was that there was no working bathroom on the bus, and the rest stops were were taken too were extremely expensive.

5.00What a spectacular experience! Everything was smooth as far as hotel pickup and meeting back at the bus after stops. The guide was incredibly funny and smart and I learned a lot about the area that I never would have known. This was one of the best tours I’ve taken and I’d gladly do it again. Just perfect from start to finish! Playing the Sound of Music movie on the way back was so fitting and I loved it!
