What To Expect

Arenal Mistico Park offers an incomparable adventure in the middle of this dynamic environment. By walking throughout its six different suspended bridges, which are distributed along a 1.9 miles (ca. 3 km), long trail, you will achieve a multisensorial experience, by enjoying such lush vegetation and a wildlife interaction from a unique perspective. Tropical Rainforest is considered one of the most biodiverse ecosystems on the planet whose flora and fauna are vastly distributed along with the understory, tree trunks, and the canopy of the forest. Monkeys, frogs, sloths, snakes, birds, and incredible insects are just some natural wonders that visitors may enjoy. Our Local Expert with nature spotting equipment will turn your activity into an unforgettable experience. There is also a 1-mile-long Universal Access trail available to allow anyone to reach and be part of the country's natural wonders. Had a very enjoyable experience! Mauricio was a great guide! He was determined to help us see what we were loooking for and we did! Very clean transportation, drinks, snacks and even a cold towel at the end of our hike. It was prefect!
Superb Travel Adventures and Transfers with Traluxu

We used Traluxu for a personal trip in 1/2024 and I've also used them to book my clients as I'm a travel agent. Sirleny Zuniga is my contact with Traluxu. She is responsive, well organized, and she takes great care of my clients while they are in Costa Rica. We personally used Traluxu for transfer services between Liberia and the La Fortuna area; drivers were timely, friendly, and they were safe drivers. We also took the Hanging Bridges tour. Carlos Bonilla was our guide; he was informative, engaging, and used his spotting scope to show us animals that we wouldn't have otherwise seen. I've had clients use Traluxu for transfers and tours. Reservations and communication were seamless. They were even able to find a last minute transfer for one of my clients due to a change in his travel schedule. I will continue to recommend Sirleny Zuniga and Traluxu Travel for my clients when they travel to the La Fortuna area.

Carlos was a great guide! He has an eagle eye for spotting interesting creatures and with the help of his scope we had amazing views and photos. He is very knowledgeable about the plants and wildlife, we learned so much and had a great time!

We had a wonderful day with Xander at the hanging bridges and volcano. He is very friendly and knowledgeable, and as a private tour we were able to take things at our own pace and stop for as long as we wanted to take in the sights and sounds. At the end of the day, it felt like he was a family member. He was answering the never ending questions of my son with a lot of patience and true kindness. Would highly recommend him if you are visiting La Fortuna.

We had an amazing tour thanks to our guide Zander. He was extremely knowledgeable: we managed to see many animals and we learned a lot about trees and plants. Zander was so passionate, the afternoon became extra special. He was also excellent with our child, taking the time to explain everything:)

This tour is not cheap, but it is a private tour so you control it. Michael was a very knowledgeable and experienced guide, and made our tour something special. We didn't see all we hoped to see, but Mother Nature is never predictable. But we did see lots of things we would have missed without Michael. And his spotting scope was fantastic. Because the park was so crowded (high tourist season) most of the animals we spotted were pretty far off the path. Without his scope we would not have seen as well. Overall this guided tour was definitely worth it. And Michael was a great guide.
