Here's an honest appraisal for the tour, so no-one is disappointed: ✘ Unsuitable for vegetarian diets sorry, as there would be 3-4 less tastings. ✖️ Unsuitable for severe allergies, halal and celiac diets, due to the risk of traces & cross-contamination. By dusk, Hanoi's streets come alive with the clattering of pans and rise of steam as tasty food bubbles and boils in Vietnam's Northern culinary powerhouse. We'll venture outside the Old Quarter, starting at St. Joseph's cathedral, where we'll soon find closely-guarded family recipes for iconic dishes, biting into fluffy banh mi baguette, and slurping on a drool-worthy beef pho noodle soup - all washed down with a freshly squeezed sugarcane juice. Discover why Michelin gave the city a food reputation to boast about, from sizzling bánh xèo pancakes and grilled bun cha pork patties, to wok-fried eel cake and crunchy crab spring rolls. Toss your fork over shredded nom bò papaya salad with beef, served alongside translucent tapioca dumplings.

5.00This was a great tour along the busy streets of Hanoi Old Quarter with our young and affable guide Dahlia (Jade). She guided our small group expertly from place to place, from one hidden gem to another, each bringing new flavours and experiences. The portions were big and the food was tasty and it included more than just Banh Mi and Pho. We also had a chance to observe the nightlife and the buzz, so this was about more than just food, but was a real experience. Definitely recommend!

5.00It's not just about eating a variety of foods, but also about learning about the culture and origins of the food everything I had was so delicious. I recommend doing a food tour, but please don't eat anything before the tour start there's a lot of food waiting for you Thank you Stella so much fun with her ☺️

5.00We had a fantastic time and I can't recommend the tour enough. We had a large group and Sofi and Tom did an amazing job showing us around and explaining everything. The logistics were easy, the food was fantastic, and they've even kept in touch with us afterwards to see if we had any follow up questions. If you're thinking about doing a food tour, I would recommend this tour 100 percent. You will have a great time And have a chance to try some amazing food outside of the tourist traps
