What To Expect
Agriculture is a crucial part of Vietnam's economy, and to experience the rural lifestyle, we journey from Hanoi to an 800-year-old village. Along the way, we visit a stunning bonsai garden to appreciate this intricate art and witness the beautiful plant creations. In addition, we meet a local family residing in a traditional Vietnamese house that's 200 years old, and have the opportunity to chat with them while enjoying some candy and tea, with our guide assisting as a translator.
As we continue our journey, we'll traverse the serene farming area of Red River Island with its lush banana and vegetable fields. We'll venture off the main path, onto a dirt road that leads us through stunning green rice paddies. Our next stop is the Co Loa citadel temple, a historical site with breathtaking scenery that dates back to 300 BC. This location holds significance in Vietnam's history as it is associated with the legend of setting up and protecting the country from foreign invaders under the reign of Thuc Phan An Duong Vuong. During the trip, we'll have several opportunities to stop and capture photos of the locals at work on their farms amidst the beautiful surroundings.

5.00Visit outside Ha Noi gave us new perspectives with regards to Vietnam and its people.Emma, our sympathetic and sensible guide, gave us very interesting facts about the culture, legends and history. We liked the people she had us met. Interesting to know about broom fabrication and about the veteran's family history. Wonderful bonsais. Another point of view so we could know more and better about vietnamese people. Pace is great, length is great and Kim drived us safely through it. Stops at the pound and the lunch were great. Take the tour, you won't regret

Great interaction between myself Kaya Sammy and Vicky we feel blessed. It was only the two of us on the day and we are quite happy to tell our friends about it and also on our return to Vietnam, we will do it again thank you team very very much.

5.00Brian is so knowledgeable and an expert in Hanoi. He was very friendly and answered all our questions. He brought us to the rice fields, coffee place and a traditional house. We enjoyed meeting the local. We finished off with an amazing local pho restaurant. We highly recommend him.

5.00Ky and Emma were wonderful hosts, very fun, welcoming and informative. It was just me on the tour and I had a great afternoon escaping the city driving through rice patties. Very interesting seeing the broom makers village. Unique meeting the former soldier his impressive bansai collection. Loved it!

5.00We did an afternoon trip into a country village outside of Hanoi. Our tour guide Happy, was full of knowledge, humour and great conversation. We ate great local food, were shown around rice fields, and learnt about local culture and village history. Happy took us to meet a local gentleman and his wife who were in their 80's, who served us tea and we got to ask them questions about their lives which Happy translated for us. This tour was a special highlight of our trip to Hanoi, and Happy was a fantastic guide who we recommend highly.
