What To Expect
Hanoi Opera House
The Hanoi Opera House is one of the most iconic landmarks of the city. Built by the French between 1901 and 1911, it was inspired by the Palais Garnier in Paris, featuring elegant neoclassical architecture with pillars, arches, and beautifully decorated domes. Originally, it served as a cultural center for French officials and the elite during the colonial period. Today, it remains a symbol of Hanoi’s rich history and artistic culture. The Opera House hosts many important events such as classical music concerts, ballets, traditional Vietnamese performances, and government ceremonies. Located right in the heart of the city, the building stands out with its yellow-and-white façade and a grand square in front. Even if visitors don’t go inside, it is still a wonderful spot for photos and for appreciating Hanoi’s architectural heritage.
Hồ Truc Bạch
Truc Bach Lake is a lovely area known for its peaceful atmosphere and great local food. Visitors can enjoy lakeside cafés, street-food stalls, and small restaurants serving dishes like fresh seafood, noodles, and the famous Truc Bach grilled fermented pork (phở cuốn and phở chiên phồng are also popular nearby). It’s a great spot to relax, enjoy the view, and taste authentic Hanoi flavors.

5.00Seb and Xuan were incredible guides, both very funny and knowledgeable. We got to see both rural and city life, with loads of interesting facts along the way. I've never been on a motorbike before, but Xuan made sure i felt incredibly safe, even holding my hand to cross the street when we were walking. Seb had a great sense of humour that matched our vibe. These little things matter and made our trip one to remember.

5.00Anna was our tour guide. A fantastic young women with a lot of knowledge of the sights. Was thrilled with the tour! We each had a female driver - which also helps with financial independence of the women. I would highly recommend this tour. Lunch was very good!

5.00I spent two days in Hanoi with my mother, including one afternoon discovering the city by scooter, I highly recommend! This allows you to see the most interesting places, with a guide (Anna) who speaks English and will explain each place, you have time to ask all your questions and take photos. You will start by eating a traditional dish in a restaurant and will also end with a drink You will each have a scooter with a driver, also super nice It is possible to meet other tourists, but always in small groups, which makes the afternoon very nice. I can only recommend!!
