Street Food Tours Hanoi
Start this 3-hour walking tour through Hanoi's most famous area - its Old Quarter. Your expert and English-speaking local guide will give you an insight into the intricacies and traditions of Vietnamese food culture, including details on ingredients and the historical backgrounds of popular northern dishes. Eat as you go, trying many different and delicious food. The first stop is a local restaurant where the dish Banh Cuon will be served. Watch in awe as skilled chefs demonstrate for you how this tasty dish is put together. Your next dish is the most famous food in Vietnam - pho, or noodle soup. Try both the beef and chicken version of this popular dish. Other delicacies you will sample include crab rolls, pillow cakes, fried rice balls and fresh rolls – served with a dish of raw vegetables and special sauce. Your guide will then take you to one of Hanoi’s best kept secrets, a hidden street food restaurant to taste Banh My (a Vietnamese sandwich) and the famous Vietnamese Egg Coffee. If coffee is not your style, a cold beer or egg chocolate awaits! At the end of the trip you are free to continue exploring the area or your guide will take you back to your hotel.

5.00Booked last minute and as our pickup was a bit late somehow ended up with a private tour with a lovely young lady who customised our tour and ensure we were finished in time for a prior commitment. The food experiences were fabulous - places we would not necessarily have found ourself - but the highlight was actually the knowledge shared by our delightful guide, not only about the delicacies in Hanoi but about Vietnam in general. Highly recommended!! On a side note, helps to have WhatsApp if travelling on data only to enable communication with tour providers etc

5.00So much food to try! Great tour for first afternoon in Hanoi as learnt about their cuisine and taste dishes which I probably wouldn’t have ordered by myself. Suggest you don’t eat beforehand as there are lots of dishes at various restaurants and finishes with desserts and egg coffee.

5.00Our first day in Hanoi we were met by (K) who led us around on one of the best experiences we have had. We tasted a variety of local foods including a dry Pho. which i can tell you was scrumdiddlyumptious. I think we tried around 10 different foods and were showing the amazing sight of Hanoi's old district. Great verbal skills and he spoke perfect English It truly was.an enjoyable experience he has been doing it for 5 years' experience at doing these tours and it showed in our opinion, Very professional young man. 5.00I highly recomend this tour. Eric was a very friendly tour guide and made sure to tailor our tour to our preferneces and dietary requirements. All of the food was wonderful and we ate at places we wouldn't have found on our own.

5.00Staff was very friendly when I booked the tour and the guide was very nice too! He took us to different places and the other ppl in the tour said it was the best banh my they have tried! It was my first day in Vietnam so i didnt have anything to compare but all the food was really good!
