What To Expect

Coming to our workshop, you will first learn about the history of Vietnamese jewelry and famous jewelry making villages across the country. After that, you will get to know the material, tools and will go through almost all the steps of making your ring, from measuring size, silver sawing, modeling, welding, filing, beating, sanding, polishing, etc… Most of the time is for this part. Each person with their different perspective and preferences will finish the items with his/her personality. You can personalize by create your own texture, stamp the letter/number you like or add flower, heart charm on your item. Our workshop is for beginners level and all items are made entirely by hand. We will introduce some basic model that fits your level, so you could have the best experience. Some customized ideas take lots of time to make, therefore, kindly tell us in advance, we will see if it's possible to make it within the time frame of workshop, if not, you may have to wait more time or come back later to finish it. The workshop is open every day and each session lasts 2-2.5 hours. Our instructors who have more than 3 years of experience will carefully guide you through every step.

We arrived slightly early and was made to feel so welcome. We learned the trafitional history of how a local village making silver jewellery. We learned the %silver required and why. in the class you do everything apart from the smelting of the silver and copper into bars. Lots of designs to choose or create, different band widths towards finger sizes (largest dibe so far was 33 wr was clise with a size 30). The teaching of each step was to a high standard and help is on hand should you need it. A single charm is included that you can add. You can stamp on the ring names, letters, nos, shapes etc outside and inside (mine was a bit wonky but we lol and Whyn the teacher said mine was dancing🤣). It is so professional they ensure you leave with a beautiful crafted piece of jewellery unique to u to cherish forever. We cannot thank the Team enough for all their help and we will keep them for the rest of our lives. We cannot recommend this activity enough, no words does it justice❤️

This class was really informative, fun and hands on. The teacher was one of few people who continue traditional blacksmithing methods from her home village. The class was a perfect mix of assisted where needed but also feeling as though you’re still making your ring yourself. The teacher was very patient and made sure everyone was happy with how their piece turned out, we never felt that we were asking too many questions or for too many amendments. My mum and I both left with a very memorable souvenir that we love. I have a lot of rings that I wear everyday, and now I get to add one to the collection that I made myself :) Highly recommend!

The instructor was brilliant! She was super enthusiastic and knowledgeable and took us step by step through the entire process. Amazing to experience how we turned a lump of silver into a finished ring (by our own design) in 3 hours. Everyone was having fun and the time just flew by. Highly recommended
