Muggles welcome! Go inside New College and the Bodleian Library on a magical adventure into the medieval buildings of Oxford University. With a fun Oxford student guide, complete with a quiz, the odd prop, and terrible jokes and puns! Suitable for devout Harry Potter fans, along with those publicly unwilling to admit their devotion, and those with no prior interest but looking for a fun way to explore! The tour includes other famous books such as Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, the Hobbit, and Lord of the Rings - along with the history of Oxford University.

During peak season (June–August), access to the Divinity School is extremely limited due to frequent closures and high demand, and may not be included in the tour. While some companies may claim otherwise, we prefer to be honest upfront rather than risk disappointment on the day.

What To Expect
Blackwell's Bookshop
Not quite Flourish and Blotts but as close as a muggle bookshop can be. Blackwells is the dream of every Ravenclaw, holding approximately holding 250,000 volumes, which translates to 3 miles of books! This is even more impressive knowing that their first store measured only 12 feet square, and held just 700 used books. Don't forget to have a look at the roof of the building from a distance. Don't worry the stone figure you'll see on top isn't someone petrified. It is a statue by Antony Gormley; one of a series of sculptures called “Another Time II”.
Bodleian Library
One of the largest libraries, with multiple buildings spread across Oxford. Home to archaic medieval books on spells and wizards! Viewed from several locations externally - see Divinity for our entrance to Bodleian.

5.00My cousin and I thought this would be fun way to see the city, and it really was! Our tour guide was so knowledgeable about all things Harry Potter, and even had an interactive trivia game played along the way that my cousin actively participated in! I particularly enjoyed the mix of Potter info and general information about the city and some folklore thrown in! It wasn't too much walking, but we did see a lot. I highly recommend this tour, even if you're not a Potter aficionado, it's still a really fun way to see the city!

5.00The tour was absolutely stunning! Our guide, Amy, was brilliant and incredibly passionate about her work. In my opinion, she must have been in the Harry Potter movies and we just didn’t notice her there. An amazing experience and a must for any Harry Potter fan visiting Oxford.

5.00We did the Harry Potter tour with Sue and it was a fantastic experience! Our guide found the perfect balance between explaining us the “historic Oxford” and Harry Potter - related data. She had a lot of fun facts about the movies, the author and how Oxford city inspired JK Rowling. Sue was extremely nice and engaging, and she even had some competition and quizzes prepared for the group during the tour - to keep us entertained along the way. Thank you Sue!! I would 200% recommend taking the tour with her!

5.00One of the best tours I have ever experienced! The guide was super knowledgeable and nice, made everything exciting and easy to understand. This tour allows to have the best of both worlds! We managed to learn the history of the city and country, while enjoying being Harry Potter's Nerds. All the spots had something of value to add to our foreign culture, while being fun. We were not bored for a second. Not to forget the great price point. I definitely recommend completing this tour if you are visiting Oxford, 10/10!
