5.00We had a wonderful time with Veronica. She showed us a side of Seoul that felt truly authentic and off the beaten path. The food was fantastic—not just standard tourist fare, but specific local dishes that gave us a great overview of the food scene. You can tell how much care and preparation goes into this tour. It’s a must-do for anyone visiting Seoul, regardless of your group size!

4.00Overall a very good tour to the tastes and foods of Seoul & South Korea. The fried chicken a definite highlight as was the local ice-cream, which was excellent. While there was a good overall selection of food, several dishes (5) are all served at the first food stall and is essentially a full meal. We would have preferred spending a little more time exploring the markets and sampling the different foods at different stalls and in particular some of the Korean snacks (salted fish etc). This would also help provide more background to the foods of Korea.

5.00I sought out Gastro Tour Seoul for a unique experience. Our guide, Veronica, had advanced training in culinary and food science. Therefore, we did not visit the touristy places experienced on other food tours. This tour was tasty and fun with Veronica’s knowledge of food, Korean history and local customs. We felt like we were getting insider information from her as she took us through the streets and pointed out the best places.
