Not a bad experience honestly. It could use some updating like clue hints, (they started easy and got kind of complicated especially at the gaze love rock one because the cipher is in two languages), the views are incredible especially on a clear crisp fall day, and be sure to make stops along the way at the cafes and pizza shops. Only fix would be if the tour had an audio/read aloud option to play in my ear buds. Kind of standing there reading your handy kind of takes away from taking the sights in. I would've completed missed some photo op moments if my partner wasn't with me to take them on account of I was reading the device and looking around and reading piecing it all together.

This was a fun way to see a number of the main sites and also give the children a way to engage with them. Good amount of information shared.

The puzzle was exclusively in English-that was too tedious for us (and yes, we know English...), so we broke it off and explored Heidelberg on our own.

The "challenges" were a little simplistic, but the tour did take us to, and gave us information about, places and things that we wouldn't have seen without the guided tour. Some of the directions seemed confusing at first glance, but worked out eventually

Picked it at random-ish, we have done self guided tours with apps before with mixed results. This was good one! I would use the app for future cities! I had no issues with the app (ie no glitches) and it was easy to use. The scavenger hunt was very cute, we were “university students following clues to unmask a secret society”, which took us to a lot of major landmarks. It was cute, I enjoyed the silly plot line, I thought it was fun.
