Experience the “Flight of Angels” perspective first hand - first documented by David Livingstone in 1855 when he wrote on discovering The Falls “Scenes so lovely; they must have been gazed upon by angels in their flight”. After take-off, the helicopter turns out towards the magnificent Victoria Falls. Our pilot will fly circuits over The Falls in both directions giving you the best viewing and photographic opportunities. A trip up river and back over the Zambezi National Park completes your flight. The activity includes return transfers from the helipad.

2.00Helicopter ride experience itself was 10/10 and absolutely worth doing. The views were incredible and it’s definitely a must-do while in Zimbabwe. Unfortunately, the communication from this company was almost nonexistent. They never replied through Viator (except later to ask for a good review), and the phone number provided wasn’t working. I had to search online for different numbers until someone finally answered, only to tell me they had already changed our tour time. The flight was amazing, but the customer service was disappointing and stressful. There are many companies offering the same experience, so I’d recommend choosing one that actually respects your time and communicates properly.

5.00Absolutely amazing - a different perspective on the Falls and the surrounding geology. The staff are friendly, professional, efficient and have "Top Gun" levels of cool. The briefing was comprehensive and the pilot was amazing ensuring we felt confident and safe throughout. The actual flight was mind blowing, when we go back we will definitely do this again and book the longer flight - definitely worth the money. The choppers are fairly large so there were five of us on the flight but the trip is designed so that everyone gets excellent views of the falls.

5.00In addition to the helicopter flight, also made a dinner cruise, a Chobe full day trip, Bomadinner, Canopytour, and much more besides our stay at the Old Drift Lodge and the Elephant Camp through the agency. Everything was super planned and worked absolutely smoothly. Wild Horizons is by far the best agency for the stay and activities, thank you Wilma for our dream holiday.

5.00We did the helicopter and zip lines! Both were wonderful. We did the walking tour of the falls first, then the helicopter, then Zipline. Complete package to see the falls in all directions! Best to see before dry season when 1/2 of the falls lose their water.
Stressful Helicopter flight over Victoria falls from Viata

1.00I booked this flight for me and my wife with Viata. Viata informed me that Wild Horizon will conduct this flight. However, eventhough we were in Victoria falls Elephant Hills Hotel Wild Horizon did not contact us for this flight. When I phoned them previous day they said that there was no booking for us. Then I got my Cosmos tour manager in Victoria Falls who was an employee of Wild Horoszon to find out this booking, but he also could not find. I could not contact Viata office in USA as my phone did not allow me to call as my phone was on roaming. Then I had to ask my daughter in Australia to contact Viata and check about this booking. Then Viata had confirmed that there is a booking. With this information I again contacted Wild Horizon and found the booking. There was some miscommunication between Viata and Wild Horison. I had to spend about half a day to sort out this booking. I had a very stressful time until I could sort out this. I am very unhappy for this stressful saga
Mistreated By Wild Horizons

1.00The Helicopter flight was fun and well done. However, Wild Horizons acted unethically and mistreated us. We used Wild Horizons to pick us up at the airport to take us to our lodging. Upon pickup, the driver asked if we were interested in a Helicopter flight over the falls. We answered "yes". The driver said we could stop by the Wild Horizons office to buy tickets. We said that was not necessary, and the driver replied that it was on the way to the lodge anyway. (It was not "on the way".) I thought this might be a way to get us to purchase tickets without having a chance to compare prices. I was right. At the Wild Horizon office, I specifically asked the sales person if Wild Horizons offered the best price for the Helicopter flight (12-13 minutes). He replied "yes", so we purchased two tickets. Later, we discovered the same 12-13 minute helicopter tour on Viator for $14.15 per person less, including taxes, park fees, and fuel surcharge. We returned to the Wild Horizon office and asked for a $28 refund as the Wild Horizon representative had not been truthful at the time we bought the tickets. The Wild Horizon salesperson denied he had told us that Wild Horizon had the lowest price. Then, he and another Wild Horizon employee started yelling at us and telling us they do not match prices. I explained that we would not have purchased the tickets if the salesperson had told us the truth originally. The Wild Horizon representatives continued to yell at us, deny what we had been told, and act unprofessionally. Not wanting further verbal abuse, we left the office. This behavior was inappropriate. Customers should never be subject to verbal abuse, even if Wild Horizons was not going to meet our request for a refund due to their salesperson's misinformation.

5.00Took a 13 minute flight. Pick up from our hotel. Everything was explained very clearly. Video/photograph package available. Flight is incredible and you see the river, falls and gorge. Gives a real insight as to the geography which is not so apparent from the land. Staff are all very friendly would thoroughly recommend.
