Visit hidden places, local fish taverns including the village of Megalochori which is characterized by hundreds of small white houses, sprawling vineyards and beautiful churches. Continue to Emporio village with narrow walkways and picturesque houses where we find a Venetian castle and fortress date from the Middle Ages. Our final stop is the volcanic beach of Perivolos, a seemingly endless stretch of black sand. Here you will have free time for a refreshing swim on this infamous beach. Savour the traditional dishes of Santorini, at local family beach tavernas or enjoy the summertime entertainment in this unique beach.!

5.00We had an amazing experience exploring the Santorini island and the villages with Amani. She made us feel very comfortable & at home from the minute she picked us up at our hotel Samson's village for the half day tour. She was well prepared with the map & explained the details about the island,it's shape, the villages,the significance of the beautiful colour of the houses,hotels & churches being white in colour with blue dome. We also learnt a lot about their ancient history, culture, local people & authentic Santorini cuisine which was very interesting ♥️ It was me,my husband & my 2 daughters...we enjoyed Pyrgos ,Pia villages with its scenic beauty & warm, friendly people. She also recommended an authentic local Greek food restaurant on top which was amazing and an unforgettable experience. We also took a lot of pictures with the volcanic magma in the background. We highly recommend Amani as she has immense knowledge & is fun loving which made our journey amazing.😍

5.00Mr Amani and his team came highly recommended in numerous forums and they have certainly lived up to their 5 star ratings! I had contacted other tour agencies but decided to go with Golden Ibex because of Mr Amani’s responsiveness and professionalism. We were picked up by Mr Akis who came early to wait and pick us up from the cable car station. Santorini is breathtakingly beautiful but I think our private tour was made more special because of Mr Akis’ hospitality. In a span of 4-5 hours, we pretty much saw most of the island and was able to avoid the long queues thanks to Mr Akis’ tips. Mr Akis also brought us to some local sites and restaurants which allowed us to see and enjoy the real Santorini. He even bought some local bread for us to try which was so delicious! We had to change part of our travel plans as my father-in-law wasn’t feeling well but Mr Akis was very flexible and quickly came up with alternatives for us without compromising our tour. We wish to say a big thank you to Mr Amani and Mr Akis and will most certainly travel with Golden Ibex when we visit Santorini again.

5.00Came in on a cruise ship and we scheduled a private tour for 6 with Akis as our guide. It was a perfect day. Akis and our driver (sorry not good w names) we knowledgeable, accommodating and made the experience memorable and informative. We saw the iconic sites and a few lesser known treasures. Couldn't have asked for a better guide or experience. Thank you so very much. Highly recommend (5+ Stars)

5.00Mrs. Amani was a pleasure to work with, coordinated, our pickup, customized our private day tour to accommodate our needs and preferences without any problems, and was kind enough to even provide a box of cookies for my group. They were extremely professional. Theodora our Spanish tour guide was the best, extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I would definitely recommend them for all your tours.

5.00Lovelly trio with a local guide who knows Santorini for many years. Much more interesting experience than those trips with guides that came for a sezon or two and know about local history and Customs all that I can read in some guidebooks. With this trip You can see of the main path small cities and their buty, try local cousine by the sea and drink wine in family winery. IF You are looking for great pictures of blue some churches, narrow streets and sunset this is great. The guide is friendly and easygoing, very talkative and jokeing.

5.00Amani guides you around the the little villages of Santorin and you soon will find yourself imagining how farmers in "the old days" were trying to make a living at this beautiful but very dry island. How did they cultivate wine here and what makes it so special? And how did they manage to build those houses alongside the hills? A pleasant way to find out is to book this tour and meet a guide who is really burning for the history of everyday life in the little villages of Santorin. We had a great day!

5.00We had Amani as our guide---super ! I have trouble with my knees and she customized our tour for me. We got to see a lot. Took pictures of us (we will have some pics of the two of us together this vacation thanks to her) at beautiful sites. We went to a local winery with a paring which was a great experience for us.She is knowledgeable, great personality and just overall a super guide. You will be super pleased when you book with tour company. Ask for Amani. You will be glad you did. (Just an FYI the cable car going back to the ship took over an hour and we got there around 1:45. )
