The Hidden Waterfalls Tour has this name for a good reason. An experience that is truly off the beaten track, we estimate that less than 300 travelers have ever visited this undiscovered part of El Salvador.
Your tour guide will be clearing a path with his machete as he/she stops to teach you about the medicinal and edible plants that the local people still use to this day. Then we will arrive at the first of multiple waterfall jumps and naturally carved rockslides for you to enjoy.
This tour has something for everyone and should be the number 1 thing on your itinerary when visiting El Salvador.

What a thrill! The Hidden Waterfalls tour was like nothing we have ever done. If you are looking for an off the beaten path kind of experience and an authentic immersion in culture AND nature, well, THIS IS IT. Be ready for adventure and to be stimulated with extraordinary beauty. Just the start of the day, before we even began the hike, was fabulous - a delicious traditional breakfast, then jumping onto back of pick up truck, dodging vines as we zipped down bumpy dirt road with sweeping views of the pacific ocean and jungle canyons down below, crossing rivers and passing coffee plantations. And then it starts, you step out of truck in deep jungle and are led down to the river, hardly even a path but our wonderful guide Edwin forged the way with his machete, stopping as we went to teach us about plants and their medicinal uses. First you hear the sound of the falls, and then the towering cascading water appears before you in all its beauty. Truly awesome sight and to be in its pool and feeling its spray and hearing its roar was extraordinary. And then you carry on for another couple of hours, working your way up the river and various waterfalls. Be prepared to get wet, shoes and all: we had to swim across water holes, the rocks and ledges can be slippery and you must have good balance and stamina. We are both in our 50s but in good shape but we definitely feel it the next day! There is plenty of hiking both up and downhill, lots of scrambling over rocks, many chances to swim, and a very welcome stop in the middle of it all to have fresh fruit and homemade tortillas and guacamole. Wow.Edwin, our guide, is extremely knowledgeable and kind; he grew up in the jungle and shared his deep knowledge. We both speak fluent spanish so that definitely helps enrich the experience, but it would be equally great even if not able to communicate with them. Edwin's competence and guidance with safety as a priority came through. He also has a deep respect and love for the jungle and the forest and the river, which was infectious and admirable. It was 4 hours of an immersion in nature, an immersion in culture, an immersion in adventure, and we came away feeling deeply grateful and privileged for experiencing it.

Upon entering the boarding counter, we were informed that our names were not registered on the passenger list. No solution was provided by Opodo or Lufthansa Air Co. We lost the hotel reservation 3500 € + the parking at the airport not counting the toll fees... and the icing on the cake 10 days of lost holidays... To flee and do not recommend!!!!!

A must-do in el Salvador! Felt really special to jump over and climb up waterfalls in this really remote park with a super friendly local guide. The 4WD into the park was so cool and just amazing to feel like the only tourists in el imposible - don't get that many places these days! Highly recommend. El salvatours is a great company run by great people :)

My husband and I had such a great day on this tour! Everything went smoothly and exactly how it’s described in the tour details. This is definitely for people looking for adventure with a medium to high fitness level! Truly an authentic experience. We also loved learning about different plants along the way. Definitely recommend if you’re up for a little adventure!

Guillermo was a fantastic guide, and Edwin was a great help. I did this hike with my wife and our physical fitness was definitely tested through the climbing, steep hiking, and swimming. We had a ton of fun, and I’m grateful we did this tour.

We had the most amazing experience with William and Edwin on the Hidden Waterfall Guided Tour in El Imposible National Park! From start to finish, they were incredibly professional, friendly, and attentive. I was a bit concerned about my fitness level for the climb, but they went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable. They even arranged for me to have my own guide who was super supportive and helped me every step of the way. The team’s knowledge of the park's flora and fauna was impressive, and they made the entire experience both educational and fun. The hidden waterfall was absolutely breathtaking, and the whole adventure felt like something off the beaten track, which I truly loved. If you're looking for a unique adventure and want a team that genuinely cares about your experience, I highly recommend William and Edwin. They really made the day unforgettable!

We had the most amazing experience doing the Hidden Waterfalls tour with William Uno. You will never met a kinder, more enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide. If you are fit and agile, this tour will be the highlight of your trip to El Salvador.
