What a beautiful island. This tour ensures you get to see all the highlights so you feel totally connected with the island and its people. Our entertaining wildlife guru Edith collected us at our hotel and off we went to spend a very interesting day together. Apart from appearing to know every person and all wildlife personally, while explaining sites and history, Edith was such an interesting and entertaining guide. After other guests cancelled at short notice, we were fortunate to be just two persons joining her whole day island tour. We learned about trees and protected forest, birds, food, waterfalls, history and stopped for a very affordable lunch in a tree house restaurant. The food was so tasty and we ate looking out to sea. Perfect. We'd enjoyed the company of Island Experiences' Khaleel in Trinidad and now we had the same good feelings with Edith, who is full of knowledge and humour. This is a great tour.

My wife and I did the Highlights Tour of Trinidad on 7th January 2025. This was a homecoming visit for my wife, whose father was Trinidadian. Our guide, Khaleel was incredibly knowledgeable, personally and friendly. He packed a lot into this tour. For an additional fee, we were picked up and dropped off at the airport, as we were there on a day trip. We stopped at Independence Avenue, Brian Lara Promenade, Catholic Cathedral on the end of the promenade, Parliament building, National Library, Halls of Justice, National Academy of Arts, Queens Park to see the Magnificent Seven, Queens Park Cricket Ground, Fort George and Maracas Beach. A very rich, diverse and wonderful experience in the expert hands of Khaleel, who stopped at vantage points, to take photos of places of interest and made good recommendations of eating places. Khaleel was superb and the Highlights Tour was excellent and I do think that Island Experience should update their description of the tour, as it is undersold. Highly recommended if you intend to do a day trip to Trinidad from Tobago.

We were picked up by a tour guide that hardly spoke to us throughout the trip. During the 2.5 hours he hardly pointed out anything along the way. Took us to two hotels during the trip, showed us the fort and that was pretty much the tour. We did ride by a couple of very pretty beaches and were able to get out briefly. He had no air condition throughout the trip in the van except for the last two minutes when it started to rain and we were about to get out of the van. We thought there was no air condition up until this point. Driver fussed about how corrupt government was throughout the trip.

Excellent driver—Dennis. Very knowledgeable about the island. Panoramic tour was OK.nvery good roads in private car but not a lot of interest after two other island tours. Port was a problem because they wouldn’t allow private drivers in the gate for pickup.

Edith was amazing. She picked us up at the Tobago airport and we hopped in her van to explore the southern part of Tobago. Edith knows her stuff and gave us all the facts on Tobago and we learned so much. We stopped at different historical and breathtaking sights as well as at a few beaches. She even stopped and allowed us to try some doubles (which were delicious). I would definitely suggest that you ask for her as she was such a gracious guide.

A really friendly, helpful and informative guide made this a great introduction to the southern half of Tobago. We were picked up on time from our hotel for the half day tour. Our guide ensured we had time to take in the sights and he was clearly very proud to show off the island -his enthusiasm for his country was infectious. The best bit for me was seeing frigate birds and hummingbirds for the first time in my life around Fort Bennett.

We booked our tour ahead of our arrival online. Everything was set until they did not show up! Made a few calls and the sent out a driver for the tour. Nathan had the day off but agreed to pick us up. A couple of hours late he took it upon himself to give us the best tour possible to make up for the booking malady. That he did. Long story short we hit the best tourist and non tourist places to see. Also we gorged on fabulous local foods to the point we never even thought about eating when we got back to the hotel. Thanks for the grat day!
