Travelers who book this experience will embark on a guided hike through the lush forests of Bayamón to reach Charco Prieto, one of the region’s most beautiful hidden waterfalls. Along the trail, guests will explore diverse tropical scenery, cross streams, and learn about the area’s wildlife, history, and natural features. Upon arrival at Charco Prieto, they’ll be rewarded with stunning views of the cascading waterfall and the swimming pool below. Guests will have time to relax, swim, take photos, and enjoy the serenity of this secluded natural gem. Throughout the tour, I provide safety guidance, local insights, and a personalized experience to ensure travelers feel comfortable, informed, and fully immersed in Puerto Rico’s natural beauty. This tour lasts about 5 hours and includes our meet-and-greet, a 30-minute drive to the trailhead, a two-hour round-trip hike (one hour each way), about an hour and a half at the waterfall, and time to eat at a local restaurant or kiosk.
