What To Expect
The tour starts with pick up from your hotel/accommodation in Plovdiv at 08:00. After an approximately 1-hour drive, we will reach the town of Sopot. From there we will take the chairlift which will shorten the walk to Dobrila mountain hut to around an hour and a half. From the hut (1804m a.s.l.) we will gain some more altitude ultimately getting to Levski peak (2166m a.s.l) - this will take approximately 1 and a half hours. The route does not have any rocky or dangerous parts. However, the route has some amazing views, the one from the peak being definitely the most spectacular. Along the way in both directions, we can use the hut as a rest stop and also for some snacks. After we descend from the mountain, on foot and then with the chairlift or something more exciting (optional is to paraglide your way to the parking), we drive back to Plovdiv. The tour ends with drop-off at your hotel/accommodation.

5.00It was an extraordinary experience. The views are just breathtaking. The trails led us through some of the most stunning landscapes I've ever seen, with incredible views at every turn. The guide is amazing, very friendly and knowledgeable. I think this hike is a must for anyone visiting Plovdiv. Highly, highly recommend!

5.00I highly recommend this tour! Incredible day in the mountains! The weather wasn’t in our favour the first half of the day but the cloud cover was exciting and magical. It made the walk back even more spectacular after the clouds cleared! The guide was kind and fun and very knowledgeable about all the hikes throughout Bulgaria and had some great stories about his adventures along the same route. He answered all the questions I had about hiking and history of Bulgaria and gave recommendations I’ll definitely take up on my next trip! It was a beautiful day I’m the mountains and I didn’t want to leave!
