The itinerary listed is not set in stone. We can modify the stops, on the hour drive north to Bon Echo Provincial Park. to add a lavender farm, (when in season), shopping in Northbrook, hiking on trails along the way, etc.

I will give you a list of all the options. Your group will decide the itinerary, not me.

I am the only tour company offering this trip from Napanee to Bon Echo Provincial Park.

I am your personal photographer all day & at no extra cost, I will send all the photos, to the group leader, after the tour.

Lunch is unique, for every dietary need. It is scrumptious and made fresh, the same day, locally in Napanee!!!!

Tours can be themed for birthdays, anniversaries, bachelorette/bachelor, etc. This means both the van and the picnic table will be decorated for that theme. Make it a surprise for the special friend or family member. I also bring sparklers and bubbles.

What To Expect

Napanee

I will pick your group up by 9:15 am at the meeting spot. We will arrive at Springside Park in Napanee by 10 am at the latest. I will guide you all on a 1 km hike along the Napanee River. Spot over 30 pallets, that local artists painted. They were strategically placed throughout the town & many of them will be sighted along our path to The Springside Parks Falls. Watch wildlife & trains pass along the trestle bridge above. The Napanee River is one of only two places in the world that experiences “seiche”, tidal changes of anywhere from 6-16 inches due to winds that blow southwest along Lake Ontario. We will venture north & explore beautiful downtown Napanee. You can choose to spend 30 minutes browsing in the many jewelry, home décor, etc. shops along route until we reach the tour van. Shopping or no shopping. Your choice. Your Customized Tour

Lennox and Addington County Museum & Archives

When you visit the museum,, you are also stepping into what once was the County Gaol/Jail. If only the walls could talk! You can choose to go into a jail cell for pictures. The limestone walls hold over 125 years of history all preserved in old gaol reports, Themed exhibits tell the story of historical settlements and Lennox and Addington County’s development.

We had a great time exploring Napanee and the surrounding area thanks to Heather! She had lots of great suggestions for things to do and places to go! I personally loved spending the afternoon kayaking and hiking through Bon Echo when the sun was hitting the rock facings for us to see the ancient pictographs; then dinner at a lovely restaurant by the Napanee river that evening. She was super knowledgable of the area, a lot of fun, and very easy going. I highly recommend taking one or more of her tours.

Heather is a very knowledgeable and fun tour guide. We have taken many tours with Heather, she brought us on a day trip to the beautiful Bon Echo it was delightful we enjoyed the day on the beach and travelled by canoe to view the historic paintings, we had a lovely lunch cooked over a fire. Heather takes care of everything so you can enjoy your adventure worry free. her vacation rentals are also absolutely beautiful and feel like home. I highly recommend any tour offered by Heather and her vacation homes.

Heather was amazing - nothing was lacking. Her care and attention to detail were impeccable. She was very knowledgable as she explained all of the unique facts of the area. Heather will customize to your requests, which is rare. Heather's outgoing personality is infectious and she always keeps you laughing. Oh - ask her to sing!

Heather is a born hostess and leader. On my first trip with her, I immediately felt at ease with her welcoming and bubbly personality. She was prepared and eager to answer any questions and made sure that I felt included as she introduced me to all of the members of the group. She was very thorough with her instructions about what to bring, where to meet, and what to expect. Although she had general plans she was very flexible as to the wants and needs of all of the members in the group. The trip was a hike down the beautiful coast near Puerto Vallarta. Although not too difficult it was a bit of a challenge for me due to a recent major femur surgery. Heather had my back all of the way and was very receptive to my needs and limitations helping and encouraging me, and always looking out for my safety as well as all of the group members. It was a beautiful and memorable day and she made sure to take many photos which she later made available to all of us. Since then I have gone on numerous trips with her which were well-planned, enjoyable, and fun. She always met hurdles that were out of her control with a smile and a joke to ease the tension. She is an excellent negotiator with other people or entities involved such as transportation or service providers and treated them with empathy and kindness. She was always very personable and considerate which which naturally made them willing to go the extra mile for us. She was very open to listening to our past experiences and suggestions, especially about future plans for fun and excitement. At the risk of sounding clique, I can honestly say that she is the “hostess with the mostest.” She is constantly thinking of ways to personalize her trips and make each member feel important and valued no matter what the occasion is. She goes far and beyond her duties with genuine pleasure and an infectious smile!

Heather went above and beyond what we could've ever expected! In addition to taking us to a few of the most scenic spots in Prince Edward County (and of course a few amazing wineries and distilleries along the way), she surprised us with a special lunch stop - fully decorated to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary! An incredibly memorable and perfect day! Thank you Heather!!
