What To Expect
Valle del Cocora
In this experience you can appreciate the wonderful landscapes of the Coconut Valley, its mountains through a trekking of approx. 13 km starting at an altitude of 2,400 MSNM until reaching 3,450 MSNM. At the top you can enjoy a wonderful view and if you are lucky, you can observe the Nevado del Tolima and the Paramillo del Quindío. Test your limits. If you have heart or knee problems, this plan is not right for you.

5.00I had a wonderful day hiking up Cerro Morrogacho and can't thank my guide Yesika Rubio enough. She was experienced and knowledgeable about the area, was incredibly encouraging throughout and just a pleasure to spend the day with. The hike is demanding, steep in many places and pretty muddy on the day I hiked it. The views were spectacular and the natural environment a wonder. I was also a solo traveller, and Yesika helped me join this excursion when I had difficulty finding excursions that would accept solo travellers at a reasonable price. If you are up for a physical challenge, this excursion will be a highlight of your trip in Colombia. I recommend it without reservation.
