It was very cold at the time, but the atmosphere in the group and the exciting route engulfed me. Stairs, chains on rocks, crossing the river (and more than once), exciting stories from the guide - all accompanied us along the way. I recommend a tour with Victor!!!!

I had the pleasure to hike with Victor on the Transfagarasan Stan’s Valley and I highly recommend him as a guide. The communication with him was very clear and nice. He shared very clear details of the track, as well as the required equipment and he also provided stuff that we did not have (like helmets) before we started the hike. I liked that he was all the time concerned about our safety, as I think this is something very important when you hike. He also told us nice stories on the way and he spoiled us with a lovely Romanian brunch just before we started our decent. I would definitely like to have Victor as my guide in my future hikes/trips.

The hike started at the Vidraru Dam, which is a great first highlight. Then we continued on through beautiful scenery, crossing some springs, in some cases frozen. Victor (our guide) made sure we felt safe to do so, and maintained the good mood with stories about the flora and fauna of the place. The via ferata elements (ladders, chains along the rock) made for highly instagrammable shots. Once we conquered a moderately steep slope (hiking sticks were nice to have) we reached the high point of the hike and made our way down. It was a fun and active day with good stories and good vibes.
