Our guide Chie was excellent and very patient with all of our questions. Her bright personality really added to the tour. She was thoughtful and as a history teacher she was able to explain things more in depth than most guides I have had. Chie also worked with the bicycle rental shop so we could use our bicycles a little bit longer after the tour so we could explore on outbown. I would recommend this tour to anyone!

We rode to the beautiful Himeji castle and toured through it. Then we rode around the town and had lunch at a small, cute little restaurant that had delicious food! We also stoped at a few beautiful parks/temples and a cute little bakery with fantastic mochi. Our guide was very friendly and nice. The only thing I can say is that I though he would know more about the history of the castle and the area. Our group asked a lot of questions.

Our bike tour through Himeji was the highlight of our trip, especially thanks to our incredible guide, Ayu. She was so knowledgeable and friendly, sharing fascinating stories about the castle town that we never would have discovered on our own. I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting the area, as Ayu truly made the day unforgettable!

Magic day with Chie and couldn't recommend more highly. There is something very connecting about cycling around an area and Chie's knowledge and personal touches helped to make this one of the highlights of our trip. And Himejo Castle in cherry blossom season is breathtakingly beautiful.

Absolutely one of the greatest tours I have been a part of. My wife and I did a half day bike ride tour to Hemji and was worth every penny. Breathtaking views of every position of the castle. Walking through the main keep of a castle that hasn’t been rebuilt or damaged was incredible. You also enjoy an incredible lunch at a very popular restaurant. Thank you Take for such a once and a lifetime experience. Lastly if you wanting to get a jump on the crowd, make sure you book in the morning. Lines going into the castle is pretty insane 10am and later.

It's not often that something exceeds your expectations, but this tour certainly did. Take did a fabulous job of getting us around Himeji on our bikes, starting off with a very yummy stop at the sweets shop. He showed us the castle from all sides as well as the tour inside while explaining the history and other interesting information. We climbed up to the top of a shrine to get an amazing view before heading back down for lunch. We were expecting a cafe meal and instead, we got to share in a banquet! The food and restaurant he chose were superb and way beyond what we were expecting. We then took another ride to see the beautiful gardens and stopped off for a short tea ceremony as well. By the time we got back, we felt very lucky to have had such a beautiful day out. Thank you Take!
