5.00Our guide, Riku, was a lovely young man. He sent detailed instructions of our meeting point well in advance. He certainly knew the history of the Castle and we throughly enjoyed our tour with him. Plus, Riku allowed time for us ‘older’ customers to rest at intervals. Thank you Riku!

5.00I questioned whether or not to pay for a tour, but I’m glad I did now! Riku was very knowledgeable about the castle’s history and surrounding area. He was easy to talk to and even gave some great recommendations on local foods to try. Visiting Himeji Castle and being guided by Riku is certainly worth it.

5.00Wow, what an experience! I was already impressed by Japan, but this tour really made an impression on me. An acquaintance who had previously visited Himeji Castle referred us to Riku, the tour guide for this magnificent monument. We were a little apprehensive at first because my family and I are from Belgium, and the language might be a problem since we don't speak Japanese. But to our surprise, Riku spoke perfect English. He guided us through Himeji Castle, always taking the time to explain the history of this architectural marvel in detail. In short, it was a wonderful experience that I highly recommend to anyone who wants to visit Himeji Castle. Thanks again, Riku, for this wonderful experience.

5.00Recently my friend visited me in Japan (I live here). A friend of mine introduced me to Riku and we took his tour of Himeji. Riku will be starting his official tours in March apparently, so we were lucky we got in early through my friend! The tour was fantastic!! Rather than aimlessly walking around, Riku had it all planned and made sure we sure the best Himeji has to offer. Not only that but he was knowledgable about the area, he was super friendly, and fun to spend the day with!! Highly recommend his tour for anyone visiting Himeji!!
