We had a wonderful experience on our Viator tour with Evans Byrd as our guide. The tour was very informative and featured a moderate amount of walking, which made it enjoyable without being overwhelming. Evans was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Charleston and brought the city’s past to life with engaging stories and detailed explanations. He highlighted the important and pivotal figures who helped Charleston resist the British during the Revolutionary War, as well as those who played key roles in restoring the city’s grandeur after the Civil War. His ability to connect historical events with specific locations throughout the city made the experience especially meaningful. If you’re looking for a well-paced, educational, and engaging tour of Charleston, I highly recommend booking with Evan Byrd through Viator.
