I have been on many tours and it's easy to decide which guides are interested and those who do it for a job. Andrew was our guide and he truly loves his city and its historical places. Our tour went for over an hour, and everyone was glad it did.

My girlfriend and I were very impressed with the history of the architecture, the owners and families who lived in these homes, and how the styles of the homes reflected the changing societal norms. Andrew, our tour leader, was immensely knowledgeable in all of these dimensions and conveyed them throughout the tour--and helped us to admire these homes, but want to learn more about North Carolina history. He gave us opportunities to reflect on these homes and ask questions about the homes and the people--long ago--who lived in them. Tours that inspire like this are hard to come by. Andrew delivered. Highly recommended.

Andrew is knowledgeable and expressive. He’s flexible and can accommodate people who like to walk fast (like we do) or people who need a slower pace.

My wife and I were visited Raleigh again. We were here 10 years ago for our daughter’s wedding. Andrew did a fantastic job of explaining the history of area, as well as, describing the architectural elements of Raleigh. Very informative! The group was small which allowed us to ask questions, which Andrew did a great job of answering. Definitely worth booking!
