Most visitors see Ybor City as a nightlife strip. This tour reveals the neighborhood’s real identity. This tour is independently owned and operated by a local team passionate about preserving Ybor City’s story.
We explore historic architecture, cigar heritage, immigrant traditions, and the foods that sustained working families during the cigar boom. The experience blends storytelling with curated tastings, giving guests a deeper understanding of Tampa’s most historic neighborhood.
It’s history, culture, and cuisine — thoughtfully connected.

I’ll start off with something positive by saying search was a good host very knowledgeable very friendly personable guy on the other hand. I was very disappointed. I don’t think you should call this a culinary tour. I mean the Cuban sandwich was good, but that was about it we really didn’t discuss food and we really didn’t have a culinary experience so I think you need to rebrand this and maybe get connected with some better food. I’ve been on many tours And this one I wouldn’t recommend nor would I do it again I mean, I commend you for trying to start a business and again I liked your host but this was not a culinary tour, especially for $100 but I wish you the best and I wish everybody who experiences it experiences it differently. I’m not negative toward you or your company. I’m just disappointed that you call this a culinary tour when we had a Cuban sandwich I don’t know about that shepherd pie and then a half a calzone and a coffee at Tammie’s understate so once again have a fantastic day and I hope whoever takes this tour knows what they’re getting Into

Fabulous very personalized tour or Ybor City. Our guide Kristi showed us things and places we would have never found on our own. And the food tastings were all delicious. Recommend going with an appetite!

This was more of a history tour, and not so much about the food. The first tasting (Cuban sandwiches) was excellent. It took 1.5 hours to make it to the second tasting, which was a shepherd’s pie and was meh. The next tasting was a vegetable calzone and was not great. The only other two were mini cannoli’s and coffee. Guide barely talked about the food and was generally unfriendly. We have done 30+ food tours and this ranks in the bottom 3 for us. While still fun, there is way better food in Ybor that this tour did not go to.

We learned so much about Ybor! We’ve taken food tours all around the world, and while this was not the most exotic, it was certainly the most informational and interesting…and only 90 minutes from home!!

Had a great experience on our tour. Our tour guide Cindy (a Tampa native) knew a lot about the history of the area. I knew Tampa had a big Cuban influence but had no idea about Ybor City and all the other nationalities. Food was good, enjoyed my cafecito at the cigar bar at our last stop and enjoyed my chat with one of the workers at the cigar bar. Just the right amount of walking, history and food. Make sure you show up hungry!
