This historical tour was an absolute delight. After arriving on site and taking care of liability/waiver paperwork, we were told we would attend a small presentation about the history of the bridge. It was our surprise to be the guests of Monsieur Georges Camille Imbault, the chief construction engineer of the bridge project 1904-1905. He took us back in time 120 years, explaining the history and marvels of this massive project for its time. What a unique, clever and engaging way to get our attention, educate us, and entertain us as well. Monsieur Imbault also accompanied us on the actual tour of the bridge, (and stayed in character). Highly recommend this tour if you are adventurous (i.e. brave) and also interested in history. We were tethered with two cables (and given detailed instructions on how to maneuver along the catwalk using the caribiners). The catwalk under the bridge was lightly protected so... not quite as scary as expected....but....if you have a genuine fear of heights --and like your feet on the ground-- it could be frightening being up so high over the gorge! So, take note. I was more fearful of dropping my phone which I took out every few feet to take some magnificent photos! Highly recommend this tour, if you can handle the height. The view is overall amazing, and the history lesson just as memorable! Merci beaucoup, M. Imbault and Shearwater Victoria Falls!

This is a must, first you have a theatrical talk on how the bridge was made, then you walk under the bridge harnessed up, although safe for any age, not many tours offer this different experience, also you get a view of Vic falls when crossing the bridge, we recomend this wonderful experience, we always use viator in every country we visit thanks again kim& Heather

This is so much fun! The beginning history part was very entertaining and interesting, and no one could fail to be engaged with the story telling. Then you move to cross the bridge. What an incredible feat of engineering, with amazing views, and added monkeys and baboons! I thoroughly recommend this for any age. A must do.

To hear the history of the bridge then get the opportunity to walk across the gantry underneath was a special experience. To see the bungee jumpers doing there thing as you walk past adds experience. The different view of the falls from the underside as well as the view of the river is spectacular. And you get to wander across into Zambia too! Very enjoyable

Very entertaining and informative talk from "George". We then got harnessed up and walked underneath the bridge. Such an experience. Very glad we did this. Would recommend to anyone who is not scared of heights.

Excellent tour started off by telling you how the French engineer helped design the bridge . The walk for which you are fully harnessed was exhilarating and extremely interesting. Definitely highlight along with the falls obviously.
