You will head over to the stables to meet your horse to saddle up for your daily trekking. You will ride through cultivated fields to Ardvi hamlet surrounded with wooded slopes. Here you will be invited to taste local fruits and some juice and visit Srbanes monastery of the 8th century, perched on the upper hillside of the hamlet. Riding down the hill you will get to Snake Navel rocks. You may choose to take a sip of healthy water flowing out of rocks or just wash your hands and face. Afterwards, your trails will take you through ancient Odzun road to the basilica style church of Odzun. The church was founded in the 6th century and gained its present appearance after the reconstruction in 8th century. After touring the church, you will continue along the edge of the plateau promising picturesque over the Debed Canyon. On the way you will visit the monastic complex of Horomayr, located at the edge of the rocky cliff. The area was inhabited since prehistoric times and considered to be a sacred place since the 7th century. From here on your rides, apparently accompanied by predatory birds will take you back to the stable.

The guide was nice. We had coffee with a local guy on the top of the valley. Was a nice experience and I recommend to everyone. Though the trip description did not match the actual trip, we had still lots of fun.

Fantastic landscape. Guide was helpful and was fluent in english. Great to see Monestary. Great experience. However The horses was not really fit and we had to walk much of the distance. Also there was much garbage on the trail....
