Your host will be a girl born and raised in Belgrade, madly in love with Serbia, who obtained formal and practical knowledge in Serbian tourism development and strives to share her passion and personal experiences with you!

What To Expect

I will meet you in front of this magnificent church (the second largest in Belgrade), tell you about the main historical events in Serbia, and enter the church with you, explaining the most interesting customs in Serbian culture and religion. I will also show you the remains of one of the greatest medieval rulers of Serbia and give you an opportunity to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this place.

Here you will see buildings destroyed during the bombing in 1999 and hear tragic stories from the 90s. We will also talk about Yugoslavia, Serbian economy and contemporary life.

It was a lovely experience! Marija is passionate about her job and her country, this makes te tour really awesome! She does different tours, ask her about it and she will give you the tour that fits you as a group!!!

We were so lucky to have our first introduction to Belgrade be with Marija. We stayed in seven different cities on our recent trip and, I'm embarrassed to admit, we weren't super excited about Belgrade. All of that changed when we met Marija. Her passion and love for her city is contagious. Walking around the city with Marija was like having a friend show you around. We never felt awkward or rushed. By the end of the tour, we'd decided two days in Belgrade isn't nearly enough. We can't wait to return and give Belgrade the time it deserves.

The tour was very nice. Marija, our guide, was very knowledgeable and kind. She showed us some of the main spots in Belgrade and gave us a lot of interesting information regarding past history and current cultural trends of locals. The food tasting was very nice as well. Definitely recommend it.
