Central square of Diocletian's palace, from which you can get to almost all other locations within the palace.
Vestibulum of Diocletian's Palace
See the vestibule of emperor Diocletian, where you'll learn about it's history and potentially hear traditional Dalmatian singing.

4.00The guide was excellent -=. Definitely 5*. However, advertised as max 15 to a group. There were about 35 when we started and agent was still trying to recruit more from people nearby. We paid a small group rate - more than £40 per person - to avoid large groups issues.. But the guide was brilliant, knowledgeable, friendly with excellent English.

5.00This was a real history lesson focusing mainly on the Emperor Diocletian and how Split came to be. Fascinating and factual and perfect for interested history buffs or those who just want to understand and appreciate more fully what you are seeing throughout this fantastic City. Just the right length of time and level of detail and a perfect first choice for our first night here.
