Good tour but less a history tour than expected.

4.00This is a little tricky rating the walking tour. Our guide, Linda, was enthusiastic and pleasant.It is a very good tour if you want recommendations for dining and shopping and a sense of the local community. It was pretty light on the history with less than half the 90 minutes discussing history. She was challenged to answer history questions outside her spiel. So 3 stars for history and 5 stars for local flavor averaging a 4 star rating.

Learning about the evolution of this unique town was informative and Linda provided helpful local recommendations for our visit, which we enjoyed long after the tour ended. We highly recommend!

5.00Linda has lived in Healdsburg for over 50 years and shared its rich history thru the beautiful buildings surrounding the square. She included a cookie from her fave bakery, a cup of tea from a local tea store as well as info about places to visit, including great dinner spots. Easy walking and not to be missed for a visit to this gorgeous town!
