Saigon Central Post Office
The Central Post Office in Ho Chi Minh is a beautifully preserved remnant of French colonial times and perhaps the grandest post office in all of Southeast Asia. Located next door to Notre Dame Cathedral, the two cultural sites can be visited together and offers visitors a chance to imagine life in Vietnam during the times of the Indochinese Empire. The building was designed by Alfred Foulhoux and features arched windows and wooden shutters, just as it would have in its heyday in the late 19th Century.

5.00Very informative tour of Saigon on a 95 degree day!Our guide Anna and driver did everything possible to make us comfortable and adapted the tour as we requested! She was pleasant and knowledgeable. The heat was overwhelming.

5.00We had a great trip with James. Highly recommend. We were 4 adults (parents and grandparents) and 1 toddler. James took us to a wide range of sites and was very accommodating to plan our day around our toddlers needs. He and our driver met us at the cruise port at 10 am and dropped us back to the port at 6.30pm. we went to all the major sights, had a lovely pre organised lunch that accommodated for vegetarians and was able to get the toddler to nap in the air con van for a bit too. Everything was covered in the costs, apart from some drinks with lunch and James was very knowledgeable and offered good information and advice throughout the day with a good sense of humour.

5.00We've just finished our tour with James. We are travelling with our 1 year old and this was the perfect tour. James was adaptable when needed and really knowledgeable. They were there waiting at the port when we got off the boat even though our port had changed. Thank you for showing us the sights of Saigon and for a great lunch.

5.00Mr Castle is a personable guide who loves talking about Vietnam’s history, cars, whatever you want. He’s great at taking photos and knows shortcuts around the palace. He also showed us the children’s play area so as parents we could take turns viewing the graphic galleries at the war museum (a must).
Wonderful day in a wonderful city.

5.00Even if you do not know at which port your ship will dock, the tour operator will find out and will meet you in the right place. The tour was excellent. Just the right mix of places, at an appropriate pace. Our guide, Evelyn, was lovely, knowledgeble and spoke excellent English. We thought HCMC was a great city, in part thanks to Evelyn's introduction. Lovely to be taken around in a cool, comfortable car with a calm, safe driver.

5.00We really enjoyed our day in Ho Chi Minh City, and our time with Peter, our guide. Our day began with a drive from the port to the Post Office, where we met Peter. He shared the history of the building, as well as history of the city, with its name change and more. We walked a while in town and visited the Presidential Palace and several other landmarks. One highlight we really enjoyed was coffee, especially brewed, with a demo of the process. All day Peter provided us with excellent information and experiences that allowed us to see Vietnam and some of her culture. Peter was mindful of our time constraints in the afternoon, and made sure we were back to the port on time. We would recommend this tour and Peter as a guide to anyone visiting Ho Chi Minh City. 👍👍💕
