Ian W5.0Sep 2024This was one of the highlights of our trip to Vietnam. We did it early in the trip, which we recommend, so you can figure out what foods you like and want to try more of. Tea, our tour guide, was amazing, personable, and very funny, and her team of drivers were equally as amazing. She picked us up from our hotel promptly at 6pm. We had never been on a motorbike before, and were a bit hesitant at first, but she made us feel very comfortable and safe. We ended up taking motorbikes later on during our trip because we had so much fun on them during this experience. We got to try a wide variety of foods, including pho, banh mi, banana sticky rice, and our absolute favorite, sugarcane juice. We also got to walk around some of the less touristy locations, including a local flower market, a food vendor street, and even an apartment complex. We felt a bit odd at the last location, as we walked past many people's open apartment doors, but our guides assured us this wasn't out of the ordinary. After all the food, our guides dropped us off right back at our hotel. This is definitely a must do if you're staying in Ho Chi Minh!Best tour ever!
