Learn about the city's turbulent past and enjoy glimpses of its fascinating modern-day culture on this city tour. A guide unravels Saigon’s history, from the 1859 capture of the city by the French to the dramatic period of the 1950s, '60s and '70s. We had a great time with Nam in our half Day city tour. He gave us a glimpse into the culture, religion, and important history (with local perspective) of HCM. The war museum was so informative (even though hard to witness). Our transport was clean, air-conditioned (so important), with a great driver. We highly recommend this tour! Thanks Nam, for a great tour!

Very informative, engaging guide, keen to share his broad local knowledge. A perfect city landmark snapshot, well organised, and a great place to start when visiting the city. Highly recommended

James was great and showed us around Saigon. His communication before and during the tour was excellent. Would recommend to anyone that has a half day or more and wants to hit the highlights of the city

The tour was well-timed and well-organised, the mini van was comfortable and the driver was safe. The tour guide, Beavis, was very knowledgeable – he had lots of information about the palace and all the other places we visited. The war museum, in particular, was very much worth a visit.

The whole trip was memorable. James our guide was absolutely brilliant, fun and very knowledgeable throughout the whole tour. Just having the four of us on this tour was great. We wrote postcards at the famous Post Office to send to our families. The Palace was really interesting and a fascinating building to look around. The War Museum is a must do for anyone visiting Saigon, it was quite harrowing and confronting to read and see some of the images but is such an important part of history that should never be forgotten
