Our tour guide - Nelly - was great! Growing up in Antigua she knew everything we needed to know about this excursion. Her demeanor and flexibility made this experience great. This started as a visit to Hobbitenango and ended with us jumping off the van as the semana santa traffic was crazy. Nelly quickly walked with us to Guadelaria (awesome local food), introduced us to Juan Antonio Duran (the owner) which resulted in a great additional experience. Going this extra step really made our experience great. Hobbitenango was even better then we had anticipated. Best part was the nice little restaurants and bars interspersed throughout, the views, and the local cat - Frodo. Would recommend. Ask for Nelly.
