Hobbiton is MAGICAL! 10/10
Lisa L5.0Aug 2024Gorgeous countryside viewing on the 2hr trip to the caves. Our guide and driver Matty was informative & friendly. The caves, whilst fascinating, was let down a little as you are not allowed to take any photos inside. You have the obligatory photo before entering the cave and they superimpose you onto images that you can purchase at the end of the tour. The glow worms and the cave system was interesting but I was expecting a lot more to be honest. I would rate the caves 7 out of 10. A one hour drive across to Hobbiton and wow! This is the most professional and well-run tourist attraction. It is such a magical part of the world and during lambing season. It was just so gorgeous. The actual movie set itself is otherworldly and surreal and you feel you are on a different planet. I would rate this tour a 10 out of 10. our guide, James was amazing . At the time of checkin we were given a water bottle and a cookie. Picnic lunch box was good, also came with a water bottle. Everything worked fine and timely.Glow worms and Hobbits
