Matt our cheeky kiwi driver was engaging, prompt and friendly. Pick up options were convenient and close to my hotel. The hobbiton tour was the highlight of the day even with some heavy rain, didn't dampen our spirits. The glow worm cave is a shorter experience but the staff are very knowledgeable and it's well run, you can't take pictures so you have to see for yourself! Beautiful caves! Great day with great people :)

Our driver/ guide,Matt, was outstanding. He was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful in assisting my wife on and off the van. We never felt hurried and he did a great job managing us to keep us on schedule. Kudos to Matt and Cheeky Kiwi for a job well done!

I was very impressed by our guide Nelson’s ability to share interesting facts continuously throughout the journey while also getting to know all the participants, remembering names, and engaging with everyone. Hobbiton and the Waitomo Caves were beautiful, fascinating, and definitely worth visiting. The lunch could have been a bit better. Above all, I am grateful for and truly impressed by the guide’s professionalism and competence.

We had an amazing time for the Hobbiton & Waitomo Cave tour. Our tour guide (Cam) is amazing. He is very punctual, organised, informative, he made whole journey easy and entertaining. We started the day by making a quick stop for coffee before going for Hobbiton tour, managed to stop at Arapuni swing bridge, had a delicious and big portion lunch (and yes lunch is included), then we head off to Waitomo Cave. We even dropped by Pokeno for Tip Top ice cream before heading back to Auckland. Definitely will recommend Cheeky Kiwi to our family & friends.

Really wonderful, educational experience. Everything was easy and handled for us. We were worried it would be too long of a day but it flew by. Highly recommend.

Dave absolutely smashed it out of the park! Hobbiton tour and Waitomo Caves were great. Over exceeded my expectations, of which I’ve waited half a lifetime to get there! Dave even managed to sneak in Kiwi House on the way back to Auckland and, again, wow! Tuatara everywhere! They’re the best! And kiwi birds too. Honestly, best tour ever. Super happy with it all and Dave was amazing. Super personable, friendly, helpful, full of advice! Highly recommend!
