An awesome day that showed us many different facets of Vietnamese life. From the scenic view of Marble Mountain to getting our hands dirty learning about farm life. Our adventures also took in pottery making and visiting the coconut farm in the basket boat. Such a great day could not have been so enjoyable without the super Mr Ken, tour guide extraordinaire. What an amazing knowledgeable human being who provided us with an incredible insight in to the Vietnamese war and the impact on Vietnam as we know today. Highly recommend this to people of all ages however be aware, there are a lot of steps on the mountain 😀

What a fantastic day out we had! 4 adults, 2 children who all loved every minute. From the very start we loved our tour guide Ken. In his 70s he has seen and been through so much he was able to explain the meanings behind each temple, the background of what’s happened during the war and had so many stories. He was patient, funny and he used to be a photographer so he took family photos of us at each location. From marble mountains, to pottery classes in a local village, planting veggies in a local village to a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. Followed by coconut Forrest tour and riding in the basket boats and then riding the water buffalos. Every part of our day was better than expected. Highly recommend! We truly had the cultural Vietnam experience.
