• A charming insight into local culture

  This tour far exceeded our expectations. Lan was a wonderful, extremely knowledgeable and friendly tour guide. She introduced us to a range of local families who made incense, rice paper, and woven mats, as well as taking us to an up and coming coffee roaster and a vegetable farm. We tried our hand at some of the traditional methods and the families were paid directly by the tour company for sharing their time rather than relying on selling souvenirs. We also did the mandatory trip on the bamboo basket boats which although this was the only part of the trip that felt touristy, was fun. The car was also very clean and comfortable and Quang was an excellent driver. We can’t recommend this tour highly enough!

  Our tour guide Lan was wonderful! From all of our tour guides in Vietnam she was the best!! She made sure we were accommodated with our dietary restrictions, took photos throughout our trip, explained thoroughly the background and history of each village we visited and just was so so kind! I highly recommend her.

  We had a great day on the Hoi A countryside tour. We visited a number of different local villages and learned about the specialties of different families/businesses, including rice noodles, sleeping mats, and coffee. We opted for the army jeeps, which was a unique way to tour around. Our guide, John, was knowledgeable, positive, and kind. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with him. The basket boats were super fun. We did the lunch option, which was a tasty meal in the vegetable village. My kids had a great time. We wholeheartedly recommend John and this tour!

  Thanh was an amazing tour guide. His American English is very good, he understands the nuances of the language and his delivery was very clear and distinct. Really appreciated that. Though it was raining the tour went off without a hitch. The hotel pick up was timely with the official tour beginning promptly at 8:30a. His relationship with the artisans is genuine with mutual respect evident. I enjoyed meeting and observing the craftmanship of each person. The restaurant where we stopped for lunch was delicious..l Idon't want to give away the tour details. It was a wonderful glimpse into the daily lives of local villagers..

• Off the beaten tracks of Hoi An

  The tour is really worthwhile to discover the surroundings of Hoi An’s old town and truly appreciate the craftsmanship of Vietnam. Both the driver and the guide are very friendly and helpful. Lunch was superb in the organic garden landscape and the coconut boat tour was unexpectedly cheerful. If you like the vehicle or not, is personal taste but I highly recommend this refreshing tour!
