1000% recommend doing the Hoi An rural villages & river island tour with Chicky and Local Buddy Tours! I did the private scooter tour with Chicky (Trung) who is the best tour guide/ photographer/ videographer and down to earth man you’ll ever meet. He goes above and beyond with creating a video for me! So humbled and grateful to learn about the rural life and history surrounding Hoi An’s countryside from rice noodle making (which I got to eat), beautiful and colourful mat making (brought a little souvenir) and going on a bamboo basket boat (so much fun). Thank you Chicky!

It’s hard to highlight anything specifically because every moment was wondrous and invigorating. We met many local craftspeople who shared what they do and enjoyed teaching us. The adventures never stopped. Tank and Carol are committed to supporting people in their community, learning about what they are creating and then teaching us. We spent many hours on the motorbike itself, which was so much fun- going over rivers and through rice fields, villages and farms. We got all our questions answered with enthusiasm and perfect English. I was in Vietnam for 3 weeks and this was definitely one of my highlights. It was the closest I felt to understand the life of a Vietnamese family living in a small village. I would give it ten stars for quality, fun, educational and authentic. Thank you!!
