The Hato Hill visiting Hoobitenango amazing park inspired in the movie the Lord of Rings and the Hoobit and Altamira with the wonderful hands and the views to Antigua Valley surrounded by three volcanos Agua, Fuego and Acatenango. Great experience with the giant hand, middle age games, the swing "El grito", Gandalf the wizard and a lot of attractions.
Altamira is a natural park, especif for selfies and pictures, 9 attractions for taking the most beautiful views. The god hand, lovers nest, the golden hand, giant Jeffry, airplane and Exupery giant, Amazing place to visit.

5.00due to a hurricane, I had to move my trip a week back not only they accommodate me via WhatsApp they stay in constant contact with me throughout the trip to make sure I arrived to Guatemala safe. they pick me up all the way in Guatemala city and made me and My Husband feel like Shannon the whole entire day, talking to us about Guatemalan culture and politics. Carolina is incredible guy. He takes amazing pictures and accommodates the guest as of the park were hers. She knows how to medicate each park flawlessly before you start. She also adjust some preferences. I felt first class the whole day with her.

5.00Excellent experience!! Only Tour from Antigua that includes all 3 places. Great opportunity to take incredible photos and enjoy the views and landscapes. Our guide Carolina along with our driver Victor made sure we had a wonderful day, detailed explanations of all the places and gave us the time we needed to take photos, explore the area at our pace and have coffee and lunch. Both Hoobitenango and Altamira are magical places with beautiful and well-maintained trails. We were 4 people and all 4 of us 100% agreed that this was a great experience that cannot be missed on a trip to Guatemala - We recommend it 100%.

5.00We booked a private tour thru Viator, and had the pleasure of spending an amazing day with our awesome guide Nayely. Ripped straight from the pages of Tolkien, what a spectacular and unexpected gem of a destination high in the mountains ⛰️ above the city of Antigua. Fashioned after The Shire of Lord of the Rings lore, it was so much more. The views, unrivaled. The rope swing, exhilarating. The air was fresh, but thin. Exotic flowers 🌸& birds 🦜 abound, and the sound of silence a welcome change. We even tried our hand at archery 🏹 No need to travel to New Zealand to feel like you’re in Middle Earth, epic !

5.00Carolina was great. There was a language barrier but even so, she helped me with my Spanish and I helped her with English. There were no issues when it came to communicating. Such a beautiful experience and amazing photos. Highly recommend!

5.00Our guide was Carolina (Spanish speaking only) and she was very warm and friendly. Our two year old fell asleep at the end of the tour, and she helped carry him around for us. Hobbitenango and Altamira have a lot of walking with a lot of stairs so keep that in mind depending on your activity level. Our kids are 4 and 2 years old and we had to carry them a lot while getting around. Not ideal, but we really wanted to check this out (still worth it). Hobbitenango was very misty and cloudy with limited views, but still really cool to experience. Altamira was so sunny and clear and breathtaking.
A must do, if you are in Guatemala 🇬🇹

5.00My day trip to Hobbitenango was AMAZING!!! It’s such an awe inspiring place, with tons of great views that you will never get tired of looking at. Carolina was my guide (ask for her) She was so patient with me, and the other lady that was also on the trip. Carolina took such amazing photos of me. Literally, just hand her your phone, and she works magic!!! Be prepared for a lot of walking, but you can go at your own pace and take breaks. This was the highlight of my trip to Guatemala (Antigua) and I would absolutely book it again.

Carolina was very nice & personable and made sure I got to see everything Hobbitenango & Altamira had to offer. Thank you again !
