Get back to nature with Rancho Loco on the one and only horseback riding tour through Arikok National Park to the Natural Pool, Aruba’s most popular and most remote nature destination only reached by walking, horseback or 4x4. Our expert guides instruct and match you to your horse, no experience is needed. Your tour takes you into the Park for a relaxing ride on the Nacho Trail (no vehicle traffic) to experience a nature lover’s treasure that contains some of the most diverse flora, fauna and huge cacti in the region. Keep an eye out for wild goats as you ride up into highlands for photo worthy views of the island before descending to the coastline to reach the famous Natural Pool, a stunning formation of volcanic rocks that resemble a miniature mountain range, known locally as “Conchi”. Spend 30 minutes exploring the area or swimming in the pool before heading back to the ranch. Say goodbye to your trusty steed and have a cold drink at the bar (extra) before departing.

Riders shall *not exceed* 220 lbs fully clothed which is strictly enforced for the well being of our horses and riders
Long pants and closed shoes are *strongly* recommended but not required. If you choose to wear shorts, please bring a pool towel to put over the saddle to protect your legs.
Children must be accompanied by an adult
Minimum age is 8 years old

Arikok National Park
Head into gorgeous Arikok National Park and ride up the hills to enjoy a great view of the island. Trot along the shoreline admire the scenery before coming to rest at a pristine natural pool.
Rancho Loco Aruba
Your tour starts with hotel pickup and transfer to Rancho Loco, where a friendly local guide will provide instructions on how to handle a horse. Pair up with a well-trained equine friend and get comfortable in the saddle before taking off for your 2+ hour roundtrip horseback ride with additional time spent mid-tour at the pool.

5.00I almost passed on this excursion and I am so glad I didn't! The family that runs this stable is just so friendly and our guide Patrick was really awesome! We had a very nice ride, a great visit through Arikok to the natural pool. I am so happy I did this excursion, loved my sweet boy Muneco! Thank you for an excellent adventure!

5.00This experience was worth every penny! We did the morning ride and the ranch was super helpful with hotel pickup. The natural pools were closed due to high surf but it was still breathtaking and beautiful. Bring closed toe shoes, and pants! Lots and lots of sunscreen. There is absolutely no shade on the trails.

5.00Patrick was amazing especially with my daughter who is incredibly shy & was nervous about her first ever horseback riding. He was very thoughtful in his placement of each horse to the rider & gave a lot of good instruction to help us feel safe while enjoying the ride. We very grateful for the experience with Muneco, Arian, & Ringo. They were great horses!

5.00Highly recommend this excursion! The ranch takes great pride in their care of their horses. We rode up and over the desert mountains to the natural pool. Our family has done a multitude of vacation adventures and we all agreed this was our favorite we have done! The horses were so incredibly well trained, the scenery was beautiful, and the guides were excellent.

5.00Loved this excursion. The horses were wonderful and well cared for. Our guide was fabulous. The scenery on the way to the natural pool is stunning and the pool itself was a blast. My horse, Coco, was the best. A really fun excursion if you love horses.

5.00Great ride with a guide that took care of the group. Good conversation and awesome scenery made it a memorable experience. The natural pool provides break to cool off and get great pictures. Sunscreen, covered legs, insulated water bottle and a secured hat are highly recommended. Listen to your guide… respect the horses and you’ll have a good time.
