It doesn’t matter if you have never been on a horse before or if you have not ridden in years, our expert guides will start you off with an easy to understand lesson, ensuring that you will be comfortable and safe. No matter your experience level, you will enjoy the scenic views, fresh air and learning from our guides as they share their unique experiences as horsemen.
The kids will love demonstrating their cowboy skill on top of a gentle horse specifically chosen for their experience level.

5.00Our private ride, 4 ladies, was absolutely perfect. The weather cooperated and it was a beautiful day. The weather had been rainy but Lem graciously worked with us to find the time to get our ride in. Ruthie was our guide and she made sure we were all comfortable. She kept us advised on how to handle the terrain of slight hills and slight slopes. The scenery was beautiful and the birds were singing, It was so peaceful. We stopped for a break at the bluff overlooking the river and had a snack and beverage. Lem showed us how to lasso a calf and we laughed at our skills. All and all, it was a very memorable ride and the highlight of our trip to Waco. I highly recommend Brazos Bluffs Stables.

5.00This was a wonderful experience on a beautiful ranch. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful in assisting us with the ride and helping us all along the way. They took the time to fit the best horse with the rider and teach you how to handle the horse before you went on the ride. Would highly recommend for a wonderful experience.

5.00We came on our Anniversary weekend and already plan on coming back. Ruthie and Cade were brilliant and patient. The horses seemed to already know what to do. The scenic views were beautiful. If you’re not experienced like we were, expect to be a bit sore the next day-but worth every second! We bought shirts and branded coasters! It was so fun!

5.00First time was amazing, they were very patient with me and my friend. They were also knowledgeable. At first I was very nervous/scared but it quickly went away when I got on the horse and seen the amazing view. Like taking a walk through nature.

4.00The ranglers are wonderful. The rides are excellent if you are a beginner or are bringing beginners. Very safe and a beautiful pleasant ride. Since I am an experienced rider it is a little slow for me and some friends I brought hoped to trot the horses a little. It didn`t work out because we had children on our ride. So, that was a little dissapointing. But the younger beginners I have brought in the past had no complaints.

5.00Brazos Bluffs Ranch delivered an unforgettable experience for our family of five. We booked a 90-minute horseback ride, and from the moment we pulled in, we knew we were in for something special. The ranch is clean, organized, and beautifully maintained — you can tell they take pride in what they do. The staff greeted us with warmth, made us feel welcome, and took time to ensure everyone was comfortable and confident with their horse before we set out. The ride itself was fantastic. The scenery is stunning, the trail peaceful, and the horses were gentle and well-trained — perfect for all experience levels. Our kids were smiling the entire time, and we never once felt rushed or like just another group passing through. The guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly love what they do, which made the whole outing even better. It was one of those rare activities where everyone, from the youngest to the oldest, walked away talking about how much fun they had. We’ll definitely be returning for another ride, and we’d recommend Brazos Bluffs Ranch to anyone looking for a memorable family adventure. Worth every minute!
