We took a private tour of Hue with BNT, which we all loved! Our guide Sang first took us to the Thanh Toan Bridge, which was built in 1776. The arched bridge is made of wood and covered to provide protection and rest, the front sides look like a house. In the bridge there is a shrine to worship Tran Thi Dao, who contributed a large sum to build the bridge, which was supposed to make it easier for the farm workers to do their work on the land that was separated by the canal. We took a dragon boat across the Perfume River to the Thien Mu Pagoda. From the river we climb a few steps to admire the octagonal pagoda with 7 floors. Nguyen Hoang had it built in 1601 and dedicated to the sky goddess after he had heard a woman's legend that a pagoda would be built here and that it would bring peace to the country. The An Hien Garden House is nearby. It is one of the oldest and very well preserved. The spacious garden offers all kinds of trees for self-sufficiency, longon, durian, jackfruit, dragonfruit, bananas and many others. A real gem, not just for hobby gardeners! After a hearty lunch, we continue to the tomb of Gia Long, the founder of the Nguyen dynasty. It is very remote in slightly mountainous, wooded terrain. The peace and quiet of this place make this place seem sublime. A visit to the citadel in Hue is of course a must! The almost square area, modeled on the Forbidden City of the Ming Dynasty, still bears witness to the power of the first emperor Gia Long of the Nguyễn dynasty. It was almost completely destroyed by US forces in the Vietnam War. It has been a world heritage site since 1993 and renovations have been underway for several years. We felt very well looked after by Sang, who made this tour an interesting, educational, entertaining and sometimes funny day for us. Thank you Sang! Life-saver brother!

We booked this tour through BNT travel. We were picked up early (7.30 am) by Mr. Bi, our private driver for the entire tour. We drove a new car, including WIFI, how luxurious is that, and Mr. Bi was a very pleasant person, spoke good English and could tell us a lot about what we were going to see, piece of history. We were taken to Tranh Taon Bridge in the early hours, where a lively morning market was in full swing. Mood was typically Vietnamese. Then we drove to Mihn Mang Tomb. It was still wonderfully quiet, so we could fully enjoy the beautiful Mood at this tomb. Then we visited Khan Dinh Tomb. This was really beautiful. Never seen anything so beautiful. -Mr. Bi was a good and quiet driver. Also gave tips what we should and should not pay attention to. Finally visited the Citadel in Hue. Also beautiful to see and beautiful garden around it. Last but not least visited the Thien Mu Pagoda. The entrance fee has to be paid everywhere. Lunch is not included. This tour is highly recommended, you will be driven everywhere and fortunately not in a whole group.

A must if you are in Hue. While this looks standard, the different is the attention the company give to cater to your group and the actual service they provide before, during & after the tour.

We had a wonderful day tour of the Hue city and An Bang cemetery. Our chauffeur Mr. Bi was a great person, very jovial and showed us around the city mentioning various aspects of the city. With him the trip became very enjoyable. He even suggested us a very good restaurant for trying Vietnamese food for lunch.

We booked 3 segments with Bnt Travel: private car with sight seeing stops from Dong Hoi to Hue with Mr. Bi, Hue 5 attractions private tour and private car with sight seeing stops from Hue to Danang with Mr. Hai. From our first contact with Ms. Tam who helped us with the booking to the two drivers, we received outstanding service and helpful information. Their prices were competitive, the vehicles were comfortable with air conditioning and Wi-Fi. I highly recommend Bnt Travel for tours and transfers and will certainly use them again when we return to Vietnam.
