In addition to all the great local producers we visit, the tour also includes a relaxed lunch with a wine, craft beer or cider to allow guests to take in the Valley’s charm.

5.00We had an excellent day with Drew the tour guide and Dave’s Tours visiting the incredible Hunter Valley wine region. Drew was an excellent host, giving us a rich and detailed history of not only the region but of Australia. He looked after us the whole day and ensured our experience was as enjoyable as possible. The 4 vineyards we visited were each unique and different but equally spectacular and all the wines tasted were enjoyable and of high quality. We highly recommend this tour for a small, tailored, special trip to Hunter Valley.

5.00We had a wonderful day with our driver Drew going to the Hunter Valley for wine tasting. We visited a number of wineries and even had gin and chocolate tastings. Our lunch was delicious and the day was fun and relaxing.

4.00Chris our driver was super fantastic. The day was an amazing experience of taste and experiencing wines. We were disappointed we coulded purchase the beautiful chocolates at the last vineyard. The lovely owners stated they sold more chocolate than wine but this is still a part of their business and I dare say costing them profit. All around a great day.

5.00Enjoyed the different ways to experience wine tasting. Chocolate and cheese were very high quality. Bought cheese to enjoy in our hotel room. Collin was an excellent driver/guide. He was extremely upbeat, interesting, informative and helpful.

5.00Great day. Colin picked us up at 7.30 in Sydney as scheduled. Made our way to Hunter Valley picking up some others along the way. Took approx 3 hours to first winery but had rest stop along the way where breakfast coffee etc could be purchased. Visited 3 wineries tasted gorgeous wine. Stop at Hunter winery was highlight with chocolate pairing which was excellent. In addition had lunch at Bimbagden winery. Pizza and wine again delicious and plenty to go around. We also had a gin tasting at this winery after lunch. Overall a great day out, Colin was lovely and explained what was happening at each winery and didn’t rush the experience.

5.00Enjoyable small group tour, featuring several wineries in the Hunter Valley along with a stop for pizza lunch. It was a great prelude to our cruise holiday which began the following day. Guide was friendly and informative, felt that we had good value for money and certainly a full day out. Logistics, booking, pick up all ram smoothly and comfortable transit in the mini van. My personal favourite when it came to the wineries was probably Mcaffreys, but each of the sites had their own vibe and character. Would be happy to recommend this firm, thank you.

5.00We enjoyed our wine tasting tour. Drew was very knowledgable and shared quite a bit of history about Sydney and the Hunter Valley area. He even pulled over for us to take pictures of wild kangaroos. The wines were very good. The wine tastings were different for us - we sat at tables as they served our tastings (we are used to stepping up to the counter, choosing a flight, and tasting as you walk around). This was vey organized as we learned about the wines and talked with the winemakers. We had a variety of pizza at Bimbadgen Winery that was tasty! The gin tasting was interesting, but not essential. Our favorite was the wine and chocolate pairing at The Wine Lab!

5.00A bit of a drive out of Sydney, 1 - 1 3/4 hrs. Visited four wineries, two of which were small boutique family owned. Colin was our driver. Very knowledgeable of the Pokolbin region.
