Your trip starts in Tromsø, where you will meet your guide and receive information about the Aurora Borealis forecast and the night route. Arctic weather is unpredictable, but with local experience and live updates, we’ll sail to the best spots, whether along dramatic fjords, open valleys or frozen lakes, maximizing your chances of seeing the aurora. If cloud cover blocks the view in Tromsø, we will continue the search inland or even across the border into Finland. Once we find the perfect place, our guide will help you set up your cameras or mobile phone and when the Northern Lights dance in the sky, your guide will take professional photos and you will also enjoy hot drinks and traditional Norwegian snacks. You'll take lasting memories of this Arctic wonder.

What To Expect
Tromso
Your accredited guide will find you at the corner of Scandic Ishavshotel, then give you instructions and information of the tour before starting the hunt for the wonderful Northern Lights.
Troms
Your expert guide along with the driver will find the ideal and safe place to observe the Northern Lights. The climate in the Arctic area is very unstable so if necessary and according to the weather conditions we will travel towards the border with Finland in search of the objective of being able to observe the Northern Lights. During this time and while we wait for the magic moment your guide will tell you Nordic stories enjoying a tea, coffee or hot chocolate. Also and if the conditions and the weather allow it will make a natural campfire in the chosen place. You will live a unique experience and your guide will help you with your camera or phone so those photos will be marked in your life. And remember to bring good humor and energy!

5.00Jose absolutely incredible tour guide. We had him for our Sommeroy tour during the day and for the northern lights chase in the evening. Drove us 3 hours to Finland and back in tough conditions. Very friendly, kept spirits high, good sense of humour and good knowledge of everything throughout the day. Would highly recommend Aurora 7 tours they were great. Gerardo our driver and other guide for the Sommeroy tour also absolutely lovely, very professional and friendly. Would absolutely use them again.
