Experience a nice and memorable trip in the dark wilderness by driving a snowmobile. Now you can combine these experiences driving a snowmobile and hunting the Northern Lights. The safari is arranged on the best possible tracks in purpose of seeing Northern Lights.
In November or early December the snow level might be too low for this activity. In that case we offer similar tour by ATV. If you want to cancel in advance you can do it for free.

What To Expect
On this tour we learn to drive snowmobiles and drive in the dark wilderness finally reaching a tepee / hut. We make a fire and enjoy warm beverages and barbeque snacks while watching the sky. The guide explains all about Northern Lights and the old mythology. The appearance of the lights is not guaranteed but they are visible in about 90 % of the clear sky evenings. Also the arctic starry sky is very beautiful. Spot the Big Bear and Polar Star, Northern Lights often appear just under the Polar Star. Listen to the stories about local life and nature by living fire. Our Northern Lights trip has got excellent feedbacks already for years. This is because our Northern Lights spotting place is the best possible place where are no other lights at all, northern sky is fully open and thanks of the local micro climate the weather is often clear even if it is cloudy or foggy elsewhere. By our long experience the right hours to be out there is 11-12 PM. Anyway you need some luck to see the lights and it is unpredictable even during the trip! Great surprises happen! Beautiful Northern Lights and Snowmobile Tour

4.00We stayed in Lapland snowmobiling and overall it was a very nice experience. The scenery was impressive and the tour well organized. The group was relatively large with about 25–30 people and there were two guides, which was a bit much in some cases. In a conversation the guide also apologized for this and said himself that the group size was actually a little too big, we found that very honest and likeable. Particularly positive was how much attention was paid to our safety. In addition, photos of Jan were taken and there were drinks in between. The guides were very, very friendly, helpful and spoke good English. A real highlight was that we could even see Northern Lights. Overall a great tour with small reductions in group size, which we can still highly recommend.

5.00Our guide Tome was amazing! He was timely, welcoming, and most importantly ensured that everyone was cared for and safe. He gave very clear instructions about how to operate the vehicle and safety instructions. We went at night during a snow storm - it was quite the experience even though we didnt see the lights. The ride also seemed very long! Very worth it. I am so glad we booked this last minute as it created wonderful memories for our time in Finland.
Our guide made the experience. His dry sense of humour and straightforward explanations were excellent

4.00Overall, this was a great experience as we snowmobiled deeper into the wilderness at night and away from the city lights. Our guide, David, was punctual at picking us up at our hotel. Had great conversations and felt very welcome. Although we didn’t get to see the Northern lights due to poor weather, we still had a great time. The experience would’ve been better if the tour company had better communication. We sent messages to two different phone numbers but no reply. We sent an email as instructed by one of the auto-reply numbers but didn’t get a response. We could only confirm pickup point after getting help from our hotel reception calling the number directly.

5.00A great tour through a beautiful landscape, top guide, we were alone with him and we were even lucky and saw the Northern Lights. Super organized, top catering, all in all a great experience, we have been to Lapland 4 times now and this is one of the best tours we have done so far. Thank you very much for that

5.00We did the tour with a group of 4 friends. We really enjoyed the tour from start to finish. Unfortunately we didn't see any auroras but we still had an incredible experience. We really enjoyed the snowmobiling with the connected fire and the snacks and drinks on offer. We would also like to thank our guide Paul once again. He did a really good job and fulfilled our every wish. We also got on really well on a personal level, which made the trip even better. We would highly recommend this trip to anyone who is in the mood for adventure.
